Marine Operation Executive
Appetizer : Responsible for all vessel operations, ground operations.
- In general, act as focal point to coordinate between various parties (ship, area office, customer service, sales, global service center, partners, terminal, suppliers etc) to ensure a smooth call of Sealand vessel to Cambodia port, and smooth daily ground operations.
- Work with relevant parties to create optimal Berthing Plan for ships calling to Cambodia port in the way that ensure vessel can berth as early as possible, shorten port stay and depart as early as possible.
- Work with terminal and relevant parties to deliver high berth/work productivity during port stay and monitor the load/discharge process.
- Adjust Stowage plan for loading with Chief officer and terminal to ensure a high load/discharge productivity and high schedule reliability, safety.
- Arrange and coordinate all vessel husbandry matters to ensure vessel smoothly arrive and depart.
- Coordinate with relevant parties for all vessel/container incidents happening at local (twistlock, reefer damage, cargo transfer, vessel damage and etc)
- Ensure port memo system correctly updated for Cambodia port.
- Ensure all vessel reports are sent by relevant parties in timely manner (TDR, final load list, departure baplie, container damage report, seal mismatch and etc).
- Coordinate with all relevant parties to set up new terminal, service call.
- Arrange for loading late gate in container, outlist container as per agreement with related parties.
- Work with terminal to get favorable proforma window as per request from Sealand HQ.
- Work with local authority including Port Authority, Pilot, Police, Custom following instruction from manager.
- Coordinate with Finance Business partner and other relevant parties to monitor and protect cost. In daily work, propose the operations solution that is cost optimal for the business.
- Coordinate matters related to transportation plan such as cut off time, out of gauge (OOG) acceptance, dangerous goods (DG) acceptance.
- Keep track of performance via KPI, take proper action to drive for improvement.
- Proactively work with commercial team, Local Product and render support to deliver a good service to customer.
- Support L&S volume/GP growth, support internal Intermodal/CHB business.
- Continuously find way to improve process, SOP.
- Coordinate with relevant parties to resolve any ad-hoc situation.
- Bachelor’s degree level education in Business or other relevant discipline with 1-3 years’ work experience after graduation, in parallel with education or between degrees. Fresh Graduate is welcomed to apply.
- An excellent command of spoken and written English.
- Fast learner, team player, flexible in terms of working hours and work allocation assigned by management.
- Willingness to work 24/7 in case required.
