Communication Lead
Position Description
We are looking for a motivated Khmer Communications Lead. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with an ability to develop strategic communications and engaging content for Agile’s social media and create a wide variety of photographs and videography. Applicants must be interested in working with a small team with an ability to think creatively to produce new ideas and concepts.
Position Objective
The Communication Lead is responsible for leading the effective communications and design aspects that contribute to promoting the brand, trust, and reputation of Agile’s programs and key activities.
Agile is currently delivering programs across Cambodia to train Women Entrepreneurs with Disabilities (WEDs), covering information communication technology, advocacy and soft skills development, and business skills.

This position reports directly to:

- Administrative and Logistics Assistant
Other Relevant Information
The position is full-time and ongoing, with no further review scheduled until 30 December 2021.
Working Hours
The hours will generally be during business hours although there may be some occasions when the position will be required to work outside of business hours. Travel to regional Cambodia may be required.
Agile’s working hours are from Monday to Friday 8 AM to 5 PM. We offer flexible hours within the range of 8 AM – 6:30 PM. Staffs are able to request individual TOIL arrangements to address personal needs like school holiday care, family time, etc.
- Primary Role
- Create effective communication plans or strategies that showcase Agile’s programs and key activities, including but not limited to campaigns, storytelling, press release, etc
- Manage digital branding and overall Agile’s social media; ensure high quality of all digital media contents and communication with stakeholders
- Produce compelling writing and copies between English and Khmer.
- Produce and edit short videos and photographs
- Monitor key metrics, communication data, and analytics to measure the success of digital platforms and for program impact reports
- Coordinate with each program to collect the information and pictures from field visits
- Coordinate media partnership with other platforms and perform other public relations tasks
- Additional cross-cluster role
- Assisted in planning, organizing, implementing, and evaluating Agile projects, workshops, and projects.
- Facilitate the preparation and execution of workshops, conferences, and events
- Contribute to company strategy development
- Contribute inputs and data to grant management teams
- Support cluster teams where required
- Administrative functions
- Maintain a comprehensive and complete diary of project activities and outcomes in accordance with project plans
- Collect and maintain a database of all people related to the project
- Maintain effective files for the project including correspondence
- Participate in Agile’s administrative functions as requested
- Other duties
- Undertake other duties commensurate with skill and experience as requested.
- Essential
- Experience working in communications, digital marketing, public relations, or community engagement
- Experience in producing creative copies or writing
- High-level Khmer & English both writing and speaking
- Good understanding of social media management, especially Facebook posting & analytics
- Good graphic design skills (Photoshop, Adobe Illustration, or Canva)
- Basic to good video editing skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment independently and as part of the team
- A fast learner with strong interpersonal skills
- Comfortable working in cross-cultural environments and assuming leadership roles
- High level organizational and time management skills
- Excellent attention to detail
