Employer Description

The Cambodia Sustainable Landscape and Ecotourism Project (CSLEP) is a project of the Royal Government of Cambodia (RGC), in cooperation with International Bank for Reconstruction and Development (IBRD)/International Development Association (IDA), project financing from World Bank for the period of 8-year implementation starting from October 17, 2019 to December 31, 2027. The objective of the CSLEP is to improve protected areas (Pas) management, and to promote ecotourism opportunities and non-timber forest product (NTFP) value chains in the Cardamom Mountains-Tonle Sap (CMTS) landscape. The Project is being managed and led by the Ministry of Environment (MOE) and the Ministry of Rural Development (MRD) with their respective components to achieve the project development objective.


The Project’s Component 3: Improve Access and Connectivity is implemented by the Project Management Unit (PMU) at the Ministry of Rural Development (MRD) to carry out civil works to improve road access in CMTS, including upgrading and rehabilitation of selected rural roads, road signages, and small-scale sanitation infrastructures; and enhancing resilience of road structures in selected areas.
