Founded in 2013, Angkor Research and Consulting combines international research standards with dynamic, locally knowledgeable staff to provide innovative solutions to complex research questions. A registered Cambodian company, our staff have extensive experience in the design and implementation of effective research within the Cambodian context, resulting in powerful, objective and relevant data for policy and decision making.
We specialize in conducting all aspects of monitoring, research and evaluation (MR&E) project design, implementation and analysis, including: impact evaluations, project assessments, large-scale research project management, qualitative research, data collection and management (data entry, reconciliation, etc.), feasibility studies, technical training, and knowledge dissemination. We are experts in public health (including sexual/reproductive health and HIV/AIDS), communications, education, environmental sciences, economics, international development, and disaster/risk management. We are able to draw on the previous experiences of our staff, who have worked together for many years on projects for governments, donor agencies, bilateral organizations and NGOs including the Royal Government of Cambodia, the World Bank, UN agencies (UNICEF, UNESCAP, OHCHR, FAO, UNIDO, ILO and UNFPA), the US Embassy Phnom Penh, the French Development Agency (AFD), the Netherlands Development Organization (SNV), Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ), and various international and local NGOs.
Angkor Research has the capacity and technical expertise to conduct all aspects of research projects entirely in-house, without subcontracting, and is therefore able to guarantee superior results. We conduct international-standard quality control reviews at all points during the research process, including full edits of all questionnaires by a dedicated editor attached to each field team. These measures are highly valued by our clients and help to ensure superior results.
