General Education Improvement Project

The Cambodia General Education Improvement Project (GEIP) was approved by the Board of Directors of the World Bank on January 18, 2022 and became effective on 07 April 2022. The GEIP activities are funded by an International Development Association (IDA) Credit of US$60.0 million equivalent and a Global Partnership Education (GPE) Grant of US$9.25 million. The project is expected to be implemented over a 5-year period – starting in May 2022 and ending in November 2026.
