Employer Description
World Renew is the relief and development agency of the Christian Reformed Church in North America, it is supporting integrated community development in rural communities. Currently, we are working with two local partners, one in Kampot and another one in Svay Rieng provinces. The development program is in about 138 rural communities in Svay Rieng, Prey Veng, Kampong Speu, Kampot, Kampong Chhnang, Kandal, Takeo, and Banteay Meanchey provinces.
The development program focuses on social justice and peace building, community health promotion, agriculture, community economics, inclusive education and youth development.
World Renew and its partners empower communities to plan and manage their development in a way that is sustainable and effective.
We use the Community Organizing process (CO Process) as one of the community development models.
