Announcement Description

Caritas Switzerland (CaCH) has been engaged in Cambodia for 20 years with its own presence and registration since 2014. Caritas Switzerland works towards a Cambodia in which human development is for everyone. Our core themes are safe migration, increasing the income of vulnerable people, and building the resilience of communities to climate variability and change. Caritas Switzerland perceives quality education as a powerful tool for combating poverty, social exclusion and inequalities.

About Project

Building on the achievements and learning generated during Phase 1 of Youth Connection, this new phase aims to strengthen and scale the most effective strategies for youth engagement, awareness raising, and capacity development. Phase 1 identified five high impacts that effectively increased young people’s understanding of safe migration, school completion, and access to vocational training, while fostering meaningful participation. These interventions will be retained and enhanced, with updated messaging that incorporates new priority topics identified by youth, school staff, and Caritas Switzerland teams - such as sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR) and the prevention of domestic violence.
