YIPSA Project Officer
This position is expected to start as soon as possible.
- Work with youth clubs and youth groups, who are in Battambang and Siem Reap provinces, to develop and implement their projects,
- Provide capacity building and orientation to youth clubs for setting up of the clubs,
- Conduct monitoring to youth project implementation, providing technical supports to ensure smooth project delivery,
- Provide coordination and assistance to other YRDP’s projects and activities that happen in the Battambang province,
- Assist in preparing administrative and logistical tasks for project implementation,
- Mobilize, coordinate, and engage youth in the province to join YRDP’s project activities;
- Provide management and coordination ensuring smooth operation of a Youth House in BTB including security, cleaning, and utility payment, meeting room management, and coordination of youth mobilization for activities of other YRDP’s projects that implement there,
- Write activity report, monthly report, and progress report;
- Participate in activities of the organization which includes monthly staff meeting, mid/annual program reflections and other events that may require,
- Join any activity of the network in BTB and where necessary represent YRDP building and maintaining good networking for, joint advocacy and collaboration,
- Manage stock and other cleaning stuff by ensuring proper control and management, and stewardship of usage,
- Perform other tasks that may assign by the ED and immediate supervisor
- Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent) in any related fields;
- Experience in event organization with young people;
- Experience and has passion to work with youth from diverse backgrounds,
- Capacity to engage and mobilize youths to participate in a small or big event;
- Good at in writing and speaking both English and Khmer;
- Computer skill (Word, Excel, Power Point);
- Good at in interpersonal skills: Communication, problem solving, facilitation, time and task management; and
- Able to work at the weekend and public holidays, afterhours, and travel and overnight stay at the remote communities.
- Able to stay/accommodate at Youth House in Battambang Province.
YNEST Project Officer
This position is expected to start as soon as possible.
- Develop working approaches for youth mobilization so that they can exercise their civic rights;
- Develop or/and review activity plan, budget plan, budget projection, and monitor implementation of the project activities;
- Coordinate/facilitate training related to leadership, public speaking, moblizing and organizing skills etc.;
- Closely monitor implementation against agreed plan and budgeting, ensuring deliverable outputs are on a budget, on time, and within scope;
- Work with youth from across the target of the project sites, engaging them in the YRDP’s activities and networking activities;
- Write a report of the project, activity reports and other types of reports as may require;
- Support in reporting (quarterly, semester, and annual reports and other required by funding partners), proposal, and concept notes developments;
- Work with M&E Program Point person to ensure data tracking and reporting are accurately performed and are on a timely basis;
- Ensure all financial transactions, settlements, and budget management are properly performed;
- Join activities of other programs of YRDP when needed;
- Maintain good relationships with donors, partners, and other like-minded partners for a joint synergy effort; and
- Perform other tasks as requested by the Program Manager & ED.
- Bachelor’s degree in any discipline of Social Work, Laws, Economics, Management, Environment, Political Science, International Relations, and other related fields;
- At least 2 years of experience in a relevant field, especially working with youth;
- Proven experience coordinating networks and/or mobilizing youth to participate in social action for positive social change;
- At least 3 years of experience in program/project management, budgeting, and human resource management;
- Be able to travel and overnight stay in the provinces;
- Strong English writing and speaking skills;
- Advanced computer (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Database and research skills are a plus);
- Demonstrate strong team spirit with high motivation to work with youth and diversified teamwork; and
- Ability to work independently.
Youth Investment for Employment and Leadership Development Program (YIELD) Officer
This position is expected to start as soon as possible.
- Work with project staff to develop or/and review activity plan, budget plan, budget projection and monitor implementation of the project activities.
- Provide technical support for project staff in execution of project activities
- Monitor and evaluate progress of project delivery, ensuring deliverable outputs are on budget, on time and on scope,
- Ensure on-time submission of program narrative reports/Story of Change (SoC),
- Work with M&E Program Point person to ensure data tracking and reporting are accurately performed and on a timely basis,
- Ensure all financial transaction, settlement, and budget management are properly performed,
- Maintain good relationship with donors, partners and other like-minded partners for a joint synergy and advocacy efforts for promoting better access to Social protection and benefits from labor rights,
- Coordinate radio talk shows on social protection and descent/living wage in cooperation with the radio production team,
- Organize youth forum/dialogues with relevant stakeholders about promoting inclusive social protection, NFSS for youth, and labor rights,
- Conduct training on labor rights and social protection, advocacy and influencing, public speaking skills to youth.
- Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent) in any related fields;
