Detail Party-time: Monday-Friday (5hr/day) with duration of 6 months
Introduction:
The primary objective of the waste separation marketing staff is to lead and implement the awareness raising activities and campaign of waste separation strategies aimed at increasing awareness and promoting organic waste separation practice within Dam Daek Market and the Sotr Nikom district through GRET’s solid waste management project.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Work as a waste sorting monitor at Dam Daek market and surrounding areas to lead training activities, help organize collection, answer question, identify issues with waste separation, hear feedback from shoppers and vendors, understand the challenges of formal and informal collectors.
- Lead awareness raising with market shoppers and vendors
- Participate in waste separation training and implementation which provided by GRET
- Facilitate training activities with beneficiaries, such as market vendors, managers, and cleaner
- Serve as a resource for waste separation inside Dam Daek market
- Provide monthly monitoring and evaluation reports, including pictures, issues faced and other requirements
- Provide regular social media updates to praise waste separation activities, especially for market vendors, Et Chay, and other outstanding individuals
- Other tasks as required
- Experience
- High school or bachelor’s degree in any related field with some experience on SWM awareness raising activities
- Fresh graduate or in studying in any bachelor degree
- Experience or interest in solid waste management
- Able to use computer Microsoft office program.
