Job purpose
Warehouse supervisors oversee and coordinate daily warehouse activities such as receiving and storing goods, managing inventory levels, ensuring the efficient delivery of goods, supervising staff, and securing the warehouse.
- To manage the warehouse operations and external rented warehouses, including supervision of all activities within the warehouse (inbound, outbound, import & export operations), to ensure all products in and out of the warehouse are accounted for in a timely fashion and on schedule.
- To coordinate activities between warehouses and production, to monitor the inventory movement of raw materials and finished goods
- Ensure the accuracy in data inputs and system updates, plan warehouse space allocation and storage
- Prepare weekly and monthly inventory report
- Handling damage stock in / out
- Upkeep reporting for MHEs & assets
- Arrange for stock count / stock take
- Upkeep of daily / weekly / monthly reports
- Supervision of warehouse clerks, coordinators and forklift drivers
- Manpower arrangement for daily operations
- Ad-hoc task as assigned by superior
- Strong working knowledge of warehouse operations and management.
- Time management skills and the ability to delegate.
- Excellent leadership and organizational skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and data entry software.
- Problem-solving skills.
