The Clinton Health Access Initiative, Inc. (CHAI) is a global health organization committed to saving lives and reducing the burden of disease in low- and middle-income countries, while strengthening the capabilities of governments and the private sector in those countries to create and sustain high-quality health systems that can succeed without our assistance. In Cambodia, CHAI provides technical and management assistance to the National Center for HIV / AIDS, Sexually Transmitted Infections and Dermatology (NCHADS) with a goal to reduce the burden of HIV/AIDS & co-infections, to prevent new infections and attain the 90-90-90 target. The overall objective of CHAI’s HIV work in Cambodia is continual support to NCHADS via evidence-based strategies, strong operational plans, and sound technical expertise.
CHAI Cambodia's Volunteer Program offers highly motivated individuals an opportunity to be exposed to CHAI’s mission and gain practical experiences in providing technical and management assistance. The volunteer program also allows individuals to bring new perspectives and innovative ideas into shaping CHAI’s work in Cambodia as well as improving the management of HIV/AIDS. The selected volunteer will be based at CHAI's office and NCHADS's office and will work in a diverse and fast-paced environment.
