Position Summary

REPORT TO : Head of Retail Banking and Head of Banking Operations

JOB OBJECTIVES: To achieve assigned branch sales, revenue, volume, service and productivity targets and proactive management of Branch operations including service, adherence to policies, procedures, product guidelines, systems, banking, audit and regulatory requirements

Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Plan and implement the objectives of the bank to achieve branch sale goals through new business sales, referrals, and retention of account relationships.
  • Oversee the overall management; establish objectives, policies and strategic plans, contribute to new business generation efforts, marketing and community outreach as well as establishing a highly-controlled and compliant bank ensuring superior customer service.
  • Manage and develop a professional and result-oriented team to achieve the bank's profitability, goals and objectives.
  • Provide general direction and supervision of the day-to-day banking operations to ensure standard and uniform operations procedure and practice are adopted at the branch.
  • Ensure employees operate in a conducive working environment.
  • Schedule regular meeting with all subordinate staff to solve any problems faced by staffs
  • Develop good team works and provide coaching and training to improve staff’s skills.
  • Establish and implement risk management practices.
  • Responsible and accountable for the branch’s security.
  • Assess the loan application submitted by LS, SLS to ensure the enough data, information, and relevant documents/references before approving under authorize given or recommend to Credit Committee for approval or reject.
  • Monitor and follow up customer repayment reports daily. In cases where there is a customer later repayment, it is necessary to arrange a LS responsible for accessing the client's residential or business premises
  • So that they can study and solve the problem in a timely manner, avoiding the debt being a serious debt
  • Formulates recommendations and provides feedback to management regarding operational policies and procedures.
  • All other matters ancillary to the above and to perform any other related duties that Management may require from time to time
Requirements:
  • Degree/Professional qualifications or equivalent.
  • Minimum 10 years practical working experience in banking operations with hands-on experience in frontline operational procedures, customer handling, credit and lending processing, trade finance activities and accounting functions.
  • In-depth knowledge of the Cambodia banking industry.
  • Possess good leadership and management style.
  • Good negotiation skills to maintain interpersonal customer relationships.
  • High level of analytical ability to provide good solutions in customer problem solving.
  • Attentive and devoted to deliver good quality works.

Position Summary

REPORT TO: Head of Treasury

JOB OBJECTIVES : To assist Head of Treasury Department to lead and manage the treasury functions efficiently and effectively

Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Working with bond consultant and other parties and recommend to senior management
  • Coordinating, monitoring and reporting bond project
  • Management of long and short term cash flow and working capital/liquidity management
  • Review loan contract, provide comments to Head of Treasury and CEO on new points or other sensitives points, and facilitate loan process
  • Help to monitor the compliance with all lenders’ covenants
  • Design and implementation of hedging strategies to mitigate financial risks, primarily foreign
  • currency cash flow exposure through the recommendation of executing derivative financial
  • instruments, managing interest rate risk and liquidity management
  • Assist Head of Treasury Department to produce ALCO’s reports
  • Analyze the trend of exchange transaction and propose exchange rate in remittance system
  • Assist Head of Treasury Department to analyze current cash position and foresee the future cash position by currency to take proactive action to make sure all NBC’s prudential ratios are complied
  • Provide training to other staff related to treasury function
  • Assist Head of Treasury Department to update the treasury policy or treasury procedure
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance/Banking. Master’s degree/ACCA is a plus
  • At least three years experience in management’s role in Treasury/Finance Department with securities firm is preferred.

Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Promote Bank Products for both loans and deposits.
  • Preparing for all required loan/deposit documents.
  • Process loan and put up credit memo.
  • Propose, plan and execute marketing strategies.
  • Liaise with potential clients and depositors.
  • Conduct Site visits and interview potential clients
  • Conduct market survey and background checking to ensure proper KYC procedures are complied
  • Assist to train or guide junior Marketing Officers to improve in their credit skills and knowledge
  • Ensure prompt actions for efficient loan processing, approval, documentation and drawdown completion
  • To promote a good quality loans portfolio and to conduct prompt review of existing borrowers facilities
