The NGO Forum on Cambodia is a well-respected membership-based organization. It comprises of 70 local and international non-governmental organizations, each specializing in different areas of humanitarian and development assistance to Cambodia. NGOF exists to represent the priorities and concerns of these civil society organizations. These CSOs in turn, are accountable to the poor and vulnerable people of Cambodia. The NGO Forum was stablished in the early 1980’s by international NGOs campaigning for an end to the aid embargo imposed on Cambodia at that time. Over the last three decades, the NGO Forum has evolved in response to changing socio-political climate of the country. Since its inception, the NGO Forum has accumulated significant institutional expertise in convening CSOs, facilitating networks of members in shared advocacy work, representing the diversity of members’ views and interests, and constructively engaging with government, development partners and private sector. Currently, the NGO Forum is seeking qualified Cambodian candidate for these three positions such as ICT Assistant in RITI (Resilient, Innovative, and Transformative Institution).

ICT Assistant

Position Overview

The ICT Assistant will play a vital role in enhancing the visibility and efficiency of NGOF’s ICT systems. This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the organization’s digital transformation, ensuring effective knowledge and data management while supporting the organization’s advocacy and capacity-building efforts.

Duties
  • Website, Social Media, and Event Management
  • Update and maintain NGOF’s website and social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, etc.).
  • Design and develop engaging content to enhance online visibility.
  • Provide technical support for online events and meetings (e.g., Zoom, Microsoft Teams).
  • IT Helpdesk Support
  • Set up and maintain IT equipment for staff.
  • Conduct regular maintenance and repairs of computers, printers, and other devices.
  • Provide ICT training to staff on software and systems.
  • Internet and Email Management
  • Manage email accounts and ensure secure internet usage.
  • Monitor internet data usage and recommend cost-effective service providers.
  • Regularly back up email accounts and ensure cybersecurity.
  • Data Management and Cybersecurity
  • Develop and maintain databases for programs, membership, and internal operations.
  • Ensure data security, regular backups, and efficient document storage.
  • Keep ICT equipment inventory updated and secure.
  • Reporting and Monitoring
  • Prepare monthly, semi-annual, and annual ICT reports.
  • Monitor ICT activities and contribute to organizational reports.
  • Social Media and Media Relations
  • Increase NGOF’s social media presence and engagement.
  • Develop creative content and establish relationships with media outlets.
  • Graphic Design and Branding
  • Design communication materials and templates to support NGOF’s branding.
  • Financial Management
  • Manage ICT budgets and ensure compliance with organizational policies.
Requirements
  • Education:
  • Bachelor’s degree in IT or a related field.
  • Knowledge of website development is an advantage.
  • Experience and Skills:
  • At least 1 year of experience in ICT and website management.
  • Proficiency in web design, database development, and network management.
  • Strong command of spoken and written English and Khmer.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Proactive, innovative, and committed to development-related issues.
  • Competencies:
