The project “Establishing an Evidence-Based National Adaptation Plan (NAP) process at National and Subnational Scales in Cambodia Phase I (NAP)” is a 1.5-year project funded by the Green Climate Fund (GCF) to be implemented by the General Directorate of Policy and Strategy, Ministry of Environment. The project’s main objective is “to strengthen institutional and scientific capacity in Cambodia to formulate and implement national, sectoral, and subnational climate change adaptation strategies and actions”.

Report to: National Project Director, National Project Manager and National Technical Advisor

Assignment Duration: 3 Months (March-May 2025)

Scope of Work

With the advice from National Project Director/Manager, NTA, and Consultant Service will provide technical and administrative support to implement project outcome, output, activities, specifically to select organization as firm/company will coordinate and establish twinning relationships between Cambodian institutions (Royal University of Agriculture, Royal University of Phnom Penh, Institute of Technology of Cambodia, Prek Leap National Institute of Agriculture, and DST) and partner institutions or professional teams from developed countries. Organization as firm/company will manage these partnerships to strengthen institutional capacity in climate change adaptation research and education.

The assignment requires strong partnership management skills, expertise in academic capacity building, and experience in facilitating international institutional collaboration. The organization will serve as the primary coordinator between all participating institutions while ensuring alignment with the project's broader goals of strengthening Cambodia's climate change adaptation capabilities.
