Cambodian Water Supply Association (CWA) is a local professional association that specializes in water service supply both in urban and rural areas of Cambodia. We work closely with water service providers throughout the country, and development partners—Water.org, CAPRED, EMW, AWA, KOWBA, etc., banks, supplying companies, and relevant ministries to bring clean, safe, and affordable water to all Cambodian people. Our roles are: (1) to support and promote cooperation among water operators in Cambodia, (2) to enhance knowledge and technical skills, and (3) to encourage the sustainable expansion of water supply services in Cambodia.

Position Summary

SALARY AND BENEFIT: Monthly salary ranges from USD 973.00 to USD 1,490.00 plus other benefits.

JOB DESCRIPTIONS

The relationship Manager is responsible for maintaining good relations with CWA’s members, related ministries, and key stakeholders and advocating for the best interest of the water sector in Cambodia. S/he will work closely with the Executive Director to develop and implement the communication and advocacy plan, events of CWA to ensure that CWA’s activities and member interests are well represented.

Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Keep members informed about CWA’s activities and achievements.
  • Foster positive relationships with members and relevant stakeholders.
  • Plan, manage, and coordinate CWA’s events and workshops.
  • Develop and implement CWA’s communication and advocacy strategy.
  • Oversee CWA’s communication and information-sharing initiatives.
  • Address and resolve member issues and conflicts effectively.
  • Prepare reports on program developments, achievements, success stories, and CWA’s annual report.
  • Manage and collect membership fees.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Executive Director.
Requirements:
  • A bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Law, or a related field.
  • At least three years of professional experience in public relations, advocacy, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated ability and experience in delivering messages through various formats, including press releases, talk shows, and storytelling, tailored to diverse stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to multitask, take initiative, and work effectively under pressure.
  • Experience in coordinating and facilitating events or workshops or conferences.
  • Strong knowledge of water-related regulations, including the Clean Water Supply Management Law, policies, issues, and priorities.
  • Experience in WASH (Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene) and conflict resolution.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and Khmer.
