Supervisor: Director of HR, Support & Professional Services

Position Summary: The HR Manager will be a strategic leader and operational expert, responsible for overseeing the HR department and driving initiatives that support the University’s growth and excellence. The ideal candidate will have senior-level experience, a strong background in international recruitment, and a proven ability to thrive in a multicultural and fast-paced environment.

This position requires a proactive individual with excellent leadership, decision-making, and problem- solving skills to manage HR operations, ensure compliance with Cambodian labor laws, and foster a strong and supportive organizational culture.

Duties
  • Strategic Leadership and Management:
  • Assist the Director of HR in developing and implementing HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the University’s goals.
  • Manage and maintain the HR team members, fostering a high-performing and collaborative team.
  • Implement training and development programs to enhance employees’ skills and career growth.
  • Build a positive, inclusive, and high-performing work culture.
  • International Recruitment and Talent Acquisition:
  • Lead the design and execution of international and local recruitment strategies to attract top- tier talent for academic and non-academic roles.
  • Build and maintain relationships with international recruitment agencies, educational networks, and platforms to support international hiring.
  • Oversee candidate sourcing, interviewing, selection, and negotiation processes, ensuring alignment with AUPP’s hiring standards.
  • Develop comprehensive onboarding and retention programs to support the successful integration of new hires into AUPP.
  • Employee Engagement and Development:
  • Develop programs to foster employee engagement, satisfaction, and retention, while promoting professional growth in a multicultural environment.
  • Conduct training needs analysis and implement relevant learning and development initiatives.
  • Drive succession planning and internal talent development efforts.
  • Support performance evaluation processes and provide guidance on employee development.
  • Conduct regular surveys and feedback sessions to assess employee needs and expectations.
  • Drive initiatives to enhance workplace wellness and overall employee experience.
  • Compensation and Benefits Administration and Compliance:
  • Oversee payroll, compensation, and benefits administration to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
  • Manage employee relations, grievances, and disciplinary actions in line with legal and organizational guidelines.
  • Ensure all HR policies, contracts, and practices comply with Cambodian labor laws and international best practices.
  • Regularly audit and update HR processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Ensure compliance with Cambodian labor laws and best practices in HR.
  • Adaptability and Collaboration:
  • Lead HR initiatives in a dynamic, fast-paced setting, ensuring timely delivery of goals.
  • Work closely with academic and non-academic departments to meet organizational needs.
  • Foster collaboration across diverse cultural backgrounds and levels of expertise.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • A minimum of 5 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
  • Proven expertise in international recruitment and talent acquisition strategies.
  • Experience in an academic, multinational, or multicultural organization is an advantage.
  • Strong leadership and people management skills.
  • Advanced communication, negotiation, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proactive and results-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
  • Knowledge of HR systems and tools, with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong understanding of Cambodian labor laws and global HR practices.
  • Proficiency in Khmer and English.
  • Adaptability in multicultural and fast-paced work environments.
 

Accounting Assistant

Reports to: Accountant - AUPP Liger Leadership Academy

Start date: 1 May 2025

Schedule: Full-time - Monday to Friday - 8am to 5pm

Duties
  • Ensure data entry is accurate for processing tuition invoices, appropriate supporting documents, and ensure that invoices are completed in a timely manner.
  • Process student tuition invoices and issue student receipts from the student information systems.
  • Recognize revenue based on the revenue recognition principles.
  • Update students’ and customer credit activities.
  • Enter daily reconciliation of other Accounts Receivable related accounts (Student Loan, Deferred Payment plan).
  • Update account receivables by coordinating and monitoring daily cash receipts, cash sales, and bank remittance transactions.
  • Updating student parameters (student tuition fee scheme) and cross check with the student invoice properly and timely manner.
  • Record daily tuition invoices in the accounting system.
  • Scan and appropriately file all current accounting documentation as well as archive previous documentation as advised.
  • Other tasks as requested by the management.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or equivalent with at least 2 years’ experience in accounting, account receivables and bookkeeping
  • Knowledge of local accounting, auditing, & taxation standards
  • Proficient computer literacy (MS Office), XERO (Accounting System)
  • Excellent morality & professionalism
  • Very good interpersonal skills with strong attention to detail
  • Results oriented team player that made sound judgment
