LIVE & LEARN CAMBODIA (in short LLC, aka LIVE & LEARN), formerly known as Live & Learn Environmental Education Cambodia and an afflicate of Live & Learn International Network, has been working in Cambodia since 2004.
LLC envision to achieve a sustainable and equitable Cambodia free from poverty, with a mission to empower communities through innovative solutions for sustainable livelihoods and environmental stewardship, driving community-led initiatives that elevate economic resilience and protect natural resources. LLC overarching goal is a resilient Cambodia where communities actively manage sustainable resources, enhance socio-economic well-being, and thrive through inclusive, innovative, and adaptable development practices.
LLC has a long history of developing educational tools and piloting new technologies related to the environment, natural resources, and community well-being. LLC work spans across multiple provinces and focuses on areas like climate change adaptation, renewable energy, sustainable resource management, and climate resilience livelihoods.
Looking forward, LLC is establishing an Innovation Center. This center will focus on creating practical innovations and spreading them widely. One key goal is to transition from traditional development projects to more entrepreneurial activities that are commercially viable. This shift will allow LLC to have a more significant and lasting impact on Cambodian communities.
LLCseeks a qualified consultant to consutlative and participatory conduct a comprehensive feasibility study and develop a detailed business plan for the establishment of an Innovation Center in North-eastern region, Cambodia. The Innovation Center aims to foster innovation, partnership, and economic development in the region, in the areas of agriculture, environment, biodiversity conservation, renewable energy, and community support, importantly linking the nature and the people. It is expected that the Innovation Center will boost poverty reduction sustainable environment in the region.
