Great Peace Cambodia (GPC) is an international Christian Organization. It is a model community center in Battambang aims to empower and develop the capacity for self-help in Cambodians. GPC was established in 2009 by Taiwha Social Welfare Foundation in the Republic of Korea that has been serving and helping alongside people who are struggling from poverty with Christian value and with professional social work skill. Great Peace Cambodia is seeking for 1 (One) qualified candidate to fill the positions below:

Project Assistant

Location: Battambang City, Battambang Province

Duties
  • Work directly in 4 target public schools; school leaders, teachers, school management committees, parents, students and community to improve education services for students and school development.
  • Communicate with DoE, District Hall, City Hall, lower secondary schools, authority, community and shop owners for supporting project implementation.
  • Manage and report the project progress, including outcome, output, obstacles, solutions, and lesson learnt to Project Coordinator
  • Prepare evaluation report of any programs which is responsible
  • Ensure the relevant documents of project are well-managed
Requirements
  • At least graduated bachelor degree of social work, social sciences, community development, management or relevance.
  • At least 1-year experience working in education sectors or relevant fields of work or position.
  • Experienced or understood the concept of working with partner who are from DoE, District Hall, City Hall, schools, local authority, communities and shops.
  • Good at oral and written Khmer and English
  • Equipped with knowledge of using computer in common (Microsoft Office)
  • Be able to use internet and email and social network.
  • Positive attitude and trainable
  • High commitment and strong team work with willingness to learn new things, new environments, and working additional hours when necessary.
  • Travel to another province might be required
