Job Summary:

The Purchaser for Agricultural Supplies is responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and procuring high-quality agricultural materials and supplies, including seeds, fertilizers, equipment, and other essential items. This role requires a deep understanding of agricultural needs, strong negotiation skills, and the ability to maintain relationships with suppliers while managing inventory levels and costs effectively.

Reports To: Senior Agronomist

Job Purpose

The Agriculture Operations Staff supports all daily farming operations, focusing on managing supplies, organizing the workshop, and ensuring all machinery is ready to work efficiently. You’ll work with the Senior Agronomist to keep things running smoothly so that farming activities can stay on schedule.

Job Summary: The Gardener in Agriculture is responsible for maintaining and managing plants, landscapes, and small-scale crops within an agricultural setting. This role requires knowledge of horticultural practices, Plant care, and soil management to ensure optimal growing and health of plants in gardens, nurseries, or designated farm areas.

Working Conditions:

• Primarily outdoor work, often requiring extended periods of physical labor.
• Exposure to various weather conditions and potential allergens (such as pollen).
• Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) when handling chemicals or equipment.
