Position Summary

Job will involve working/patrolling with forest patrol units, coordinating logistics and preparation of written reports. The candidate will be full-time staying at the designated patrol station with patrol units in one of the province above.

Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Providing interpretation support to Cardamom Forest Protection Program Manager and Station Advisor
  • Translating CFPP related documents from Khmer to English and English to Khmer
  • Readiness to work with law enforcement patrol unit 24/7 and flexibility in dealing with difficult situation whenever encountering illegal activities on the job
  • Providing administrative and logistics support to Station Advisor (expatriate)
  • Working closely with the Station Advisor to check patrol itineraries and compilation of court cases as well as in the preparation of written reports
  • Doing other duties as may be assigned from time to time
Requirements:
  • Good oral and written communication skills (Khmer and English)
  • Basic computer skills: MS Word and Excel
  • Capable to face difficult and bad situations when on duty and willing to work long hours
  • Resourceful, mature, hardworking and can work with minimal supervision
  • Must possess strong personality, love for nature and strong commitment to fight for forest protection
  • With sufficient driving experience and must possess a driver’s license (at least type B)
