About School Academic Coordinator (Primary School)

Note: For Cambodian applications Only

The School Academic Coordinator is responsible for coordinating the primary school curriculum to ensure quality and coverage of planning. He/she supports the development of the recruitment and site induction process of primary staff. The incumbent of this role provides curriculum focusing on Content Language Integrated Learning (CLIL), teaching, and learning support especially in English subjects. The position also supports Learning Support Program (LSP) classes for students to work towards a zero-class repetition (all students going up to next year’s level) approach.

Report to: School Manager

Manage: English Teachers, ICT Teachers

Duties
  • Coordinate the primary school curriculum focus on CLIL to ensure quality and coverage of planning
  • Lead collaborative planning and support teaching teams which focus on content, instruction and assessment
  • Provide teachers with materials and professional development for the successful execution of their teaching
  • Establish concrete goals and actively support teachers with any issues regarding to curriculum, instruction and assessment
  • Analyze data related to student achievement and recommend for any improvement
  • Review and check teacher’s planning, assessment methodology, teaching tool kits and follow up of the long term plan (LTP) and medium term plan (MTP)
  • Conduct classroom observations to ensure quality of implementation for school improvement initiatives
  • Coordinate and support extra classes for students to work toward a zero class retention (all students going up to next year level) approach
  • Lead student project showcase and coordinate volunteers to support the English program
  • Work with the academic team to facilitate ICT program at primary school to function smoothly
  • Facilitate social events, meeting and field trip and conduct contests to promote learning quality
  • Work closely with school manager for supporting the development of a site induction process and ensure all teachers are aware and understand.
Requirements
  • Ethical and able to demonstrate CCF values in day-to-day work
  • Bachelor degree of education or related field
  • At least 3 years’ experience in teaching and/or as an Academic Coordinator from Early Childhood Education to Primary School levels
  • Certificate of Pedagogical for primary school is an asset
  • Good knowledge of education management, leadership, and supervisory skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills both English and Khmer
  • Very good at computer skills, especially Excel (Microsoft Word and Excel, internet and Email)

  • Working Days/Hours: 07:30am-12:00pm and 01:30pm-05:00pm from Monday to Saturday(full-time).

About Software Developer

Software Developer is responsible for developing and modifying in house software applications by participating in the new requirement, designing, implementing, testing and supporting of custom solutions, which include feature enhancements, new functionalities, and back-end systems integration. This role works closely with IT team to leverage the newest technologies, both software and hardware.

Report to: Senior Manager Reporting and Compliance

Key liaison: Database Administrator

Duties
  • Model the organization’s values and associated behaviors within the office
  • Develop, design, implement, test and support the customer solutions, which include features enhancements, new functionalities, and back-end system integration
  • Create technical specifications and test plans, coding test and troubleshoot programs utilizing the appropriate hardware, database and programming technology
  • Interact with subject matter experts (functional & technical) to understand business requirements and technology architecture of the applications accordingly
  • Maintain and modify programs, make approved changes by amending flow charts, develop detailed programming logic, and coding changes
  • Evaluate simple interrelationships between program such as whether a contemplated change in one part of a program would cause unwanted results in a related part
  • Analyze performance of programs and take action to correct deficiencies based on consultation with users and approval of supervisor
  • Write the operational documentation with technical authors
  • Maintain system by monitoring and correcting software defects
  • Investigate new technologies and provide on the job training to related staff
  • Contribute to code reviews for quality assurance and conformance to standard/guidelines
  • Provide technical guidance and lead/develop team members
  • Assist in infrastructure & system software setup for development and testing environment.
Requirements
  • Bachelor Degree of Computer Science or Diploma of Engineering
  • At least 3 years’ experience in Software Development such as writing and reviewing code for sites, typically HTML, XML, VB.Net or JavaScript
  • Knowledge of integrating multimedia content onto a site
  • Knowledge of UI/UX Design Specialization
  • Good oral and written communication skills in English
  • Good interpersonal and well organized
  • Be honest and trustworthy, Patient, respectful and helpful
