Position Summary

National Institute of Public Health (NIPH) is currently seeking contractual staff to work at the Technical Office as a Researcher

  • The contract of service is for a 1-year period with the possibility of extension based on your work performance.
Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Support public health, epidemiology, and health system research activities
  • Conduct literature searches or desk reviews on assigned research topics
  • Carrying out research and providing technical inputs (writing concept note, budget plan and statistical analysis skill etc) into research development.
  • Support developing research proposal
  • Carrying other tasks and activities as advised by the NIPH management team.
Requirements:
  • Cambodian citizen
  • Holding a relevant university degree such as master’s degree in public health, health planning and policy, Master of Sciences (in Epidemiology, Sociology, and other Social Sciences discipline), or other relevant degree.
  • At least 2 years of relevant working experience in health data sciences, epidemiology research, health system research, public health research or closely related fields.
  • Strong health research experience and data analytical skills (being able to handle STATA, SPSS, R software, or Python etc).
  • Have published at least 2 papers preferably as the first authors (in a peer-reviewed journal)
  • Strong experience in computer skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
  • Excellent command in Khmer and English.
