Teaching Assistant

Prerequisites

Relationships

  • The Teaching Assistant acts as a support to the Teacher and Students in the classroom. They report directly to the Homeroom Teacher and receive support, guidance and training from the homeroom teacher and academic team.

Duties
  • Responsibilities
  • Maintain a well organized, safe and efficient classroom space.
  • Create and maintain classroom displays as instructed by the class teacher.
  • Support the class teacher to build a classroom environment of respect and rapport.
  • Ensure student safety both inside and outside of the classroom.
  • Supervise student nap times.
  • Support both the social and emotional development of the students.
  • Deliver planned learning activities to either small groups and or individual students as instructed by the class teacher.
  • Have an understanding of Essential Questions and make connections to these during activities, as guided by the class teacher.
  • Provide meaningful feedback to students, during learning activities, to support and guide their learning.
  • Provide feedback to the class teacher on student progress.
  • Support the class teacher with promoting positive behaviour management strategies in the classroom.
  • Collaborate with our Student Support Services team, as and when required, this may include following post referral strategies with individual students.
  • Translate for both parents and teachers at PTCs and when required during the school day.
  • Carry out admin duties such as photocopying, printing, preparing materials and resources for classroom activities.
  • Promote,support and participate in school initiatives and events including school field trips.
  • Cover for the class teacher during any absences. ( For short periods of time).

Admin Assistant

SUMMARY OF THE POSITION

Prerequisites

  • The Administration Assistant typically possesses an educational background in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications and PR or any related field. She/he must have experience in administrative tasks and duties for at least 2 years. Native speaker level of English and Khmer language, strong service orientation, an enthusiastic and positive work attitude as well as high level of cultural sensitivity and empathy are further characteristics of the Administration Officer.

Relationships

  • The Administration Assistant acts as the connection point among parents to department and department to department. The employee reports on daily bases to the S.A.M, disseminates information to and creates a constructive and collaborative relationship with all office staff, parents, students and externality.

Responsible for:

Ensuring the effective, timely, transparent, diversified, and well coordinated procurement of materials and other supplies through a well defined process and always with prior approvals from the School Director and/or Board of Directors and with proper check from the S.A.M. and Accounting Manager; timely planning, effective organizing, leading and controlling all school events over administrative aspects; and other tasks assigned by the S.A.M.

Duties
  • Main Activities:
  • Handle and coordinate requests from teachers and staff and process through a predefined procedure to get approval from authorized persons in a very brief delay.
  • Seek quotations from shops/suppliers for any requested items.
  • Process order in a timely and professional manner to assure the predefined quality and quantity are met upon delivery.
  • On a regular basis, the officer will have to go out to the markets accompanied by the accounting staff to buy items that are not suitable for distance orders.
  • Coordinate with the concerning staff, maintenance officer and/or other administration assistants to deliver, equip and/or install the item in its desired location.
  • Frequently check new reliable suppliers that provide better quality products, service, prices and payment conditions.
  • Report the expenditure on a timely basis to the S.A.M.
  • Plan the major events in terms of administrative support and submit the budget to the S.A.M. on a very timely manner.
  • Prepare and organize the procurement and coordinate with all product and service providers to ensure well prepared and smooth running of the events.
  • Supervise all the administrative aspects on the days of the events.
  • Invoice clearance for all of the expenses occurred during the events.

School Nurse

The Nurse holds a Bachelor’s or Master's Degree in nursing.

Relationships

The Nurse is responsible for addressing referrals, reports to and is supervised by the School Principal. He/She works closely with all teachers, and his/her team to ensure the health and wellness needs of all students are being met.

Purpose

The post holder’s principal accountability will be to:

  • Implementation of intentional practice through all aspects of the student experience from referral and entry, personal planning to student transition or exit in alignment with CIA PP International School framework, policies, procedures and systems.
  • Ensure that the needs of all students are met and that they are supported to make good progress academically, behaviorally and socially.
  • Support and advise the parents of students with health/wellness needs.
  • Flagging child protection issues.
  • Support teachers in managing student health needs when necessary.
  • Ensure all student processes are accurately documented in accordance with organizational policy and standards.

Duties
  • Maintaining the referral process and keeping precise data on students being referred.
  • Ensuring the team is recording all student treatment and health information or medical needs in the student profile within SchoolBase.
  • Ensuring that information required for statutory assessments is completed to a high standard and forwarded to School Director, Principals and Academic Supervisors.
  • Liaising with local health institutions, external agencies and other organizations with a view to obtaining quality advice and support that will enable staff at the school to offer quality provision to students with health needs.
  • Coordinating the organization of nurse schedules, inventory and team meetings.
  • Supporting the professional development of staff by delivering continuing professional development sessions on topics of expertise, related to student health, wellness and success.
  • Researching best practices.
  • Facilitate team meetings with clinic staff.
  • Collect supporting data regarding effectiveness of interventions.

The Payroll Officer typically possesses an educational background in Accounting, Finance and Banking, or any related field. He/She is accountable for assigned tasks by the Payroll Supervisor. Honesty, transparency and accountability are of highest priority and all accounting department staff will follow these principles under guidance, training and control of the Finance Manager.

Responsible for: Payroll for CIA FIRST International School Staff.

Duties
  • Record new staff in payroll system
  • Open bank account for new staff
  • Drop/sent application form to bank
  • Email remind to HR Department for print out staff attendance bi-week
  • Assist Payroll Supervisor to prepare payroll bi-weekly
  • Prepare the seniority/severance payment
  • Arrange report annual leave to staff for comparison with HR department
  • Semester pay health insurance to staff who have their own insurance
  • Keep tracking staffs insurance
  • Arrange and calculate tax on salary
  • Responsible for all tasks related to NSSF
  • Prepare salary payment in cash for staff who yet open the bank account
  • Arrange payroll slip for staff who require the hard copy
  • Check contract/main power approval before registering staff into the payroll system.
  • Monthly reconcile staff advance account
  • Do adjustment Visa, Insurance, Medical, PD, Re-location allowance, child’s tuition fee for staff, and other deductions.

  • Develop and implement HR policies and procedures in alignment with the school's mission and vision.
  • Lead the recruitment and hiring process for all staff positions.
  • Manage the HR Management system in collaboration with others within the department.
  • Manage employee relations, including performance management, disciplinary matters, and conflict resolution.

Qualifications

The job holder is a professional with a background in a related field. He/She has a strong commitment to the school’s beliefs about education and the learning process as adopted in the school’s mission, vision and schoolwide learner outcomes. The individual must possess good organizational skills with attention to details, show professionalism through attitude, attire and appearance, and has strong communication, facilitation, and consensus building skills.

Duties
  • Support break time supervisors through monitoring, advice and followup.
  • Initiate and lead the investigation in any behavioral management case (incl. access to CCTV footage).
  • Ensure parents, students and guests to the campus abide by School rules and policies.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Branch Principal or the Heads of School.
  • Supporting Lunch delivery supervision.
  • Parental supervision during school times.
  • Student supervision during non break times.
  • Supervise Early drop off, late pick up for FTK and FTI student
  • Keeping on the lookout for any unsafe action and breaks in regulation
  • Check any unclean place or broken item and inform to maintenance and cleaner team
