with Cambodia Agricultural Cooperative Alliance
The Cambodian Agricultural Cooperative Alliance (CAC Alliance) is a vehicle established by the Kingdom of Cambodia to better manage the agricultural cooperatives (AC) in the country and provide them with services. It is a non-profit corporation with certain regulatory requirements delegated by the government. It was established two years ago and has developed a Strategic Plan and a Business Strategy to initiate services and programs to assist the more than 1200 agricultural cooperative members.
The membership are cooperatives formed by local communities and their farms to better manage and distribute their crop production. The total farms and families represented by these cooperatives is approximately 170,000. The CAC Alliance therefore has a broad reach in the agricultural sector in Cambodia.
In the Strategic Plan, there are certain priorities set out and approved by the Board of Directors in order to meet the vision and mission of the CAC Alliance.
The Vision of the CAC Alliance is:
To be the most valued and recognized national platform to support current and prospective Cambodian ACs and ACUs to reach their full capacity in terms of quality of inputs, production processes, down-stream and up-stream value-chain activities, and marketing in an environmentally sustainable manner, following the standards of Cambodian Good Agricultural Practices.
The Mission is:
To serve Cambodian ACs/ACUs in the following: legal representation; enabling environment; institutional capacity; and access to all forms of agricultural capital, including fair finance. To enhance agricultural production capacity, agro-industry, agri-business, and agri-services aimed at raising economic, social and cultural status of AC members.
The Agricultural Cooperatives are very supportive of this Mission and Vision and have approved the Strategic Plan at the last Board of Directors meeting.
Objective
CAC Alliance is seeking for a qualified Training Material Developer to carry out a participatory process to develop nation wide training materials for three courses to be delivered to the BoD and Supervisory Committee of the Agricultural Cooperative.
Scope of work
The Training Material Developer is expected to carry out the following activities:

Duration of the Training Material Development
The process of the material development is expected to start in mid October 2023. ToT to be provided to the pool trainers expected to complete within December 2023.

Cover letter and resume (maxim 3 pages) highlighting how your expertise are qualified for the assignments (ToR), and your tentative schedule & budget.
Resume and schedule shall be submitted to CAC Alliance office, or through email provided in the contact details.
The bids received shall be evaluated by CAC alliance with regard to their cover letter and CV (50%) and to their commercial aspects (50%) whereupon the bidders shall be ranked.
Contractual negotiations are generally commenced with the first bidder on the list. Should these negotiations not be successful, the second bidder on the list shall be invited to commence negotiations. Unsuccessful consultant shall not be informed and shall not receive a separate notice to this effect.
