RainWater Cambodia (RWC) was established in February 2004 through a collaboration of Cambodian and foreign nationals. Their common bond was a concern for the health of people in Cambodia, especially women and children. Access to clean drinking water and improved sanitation are clear priorities for improved health and that is why RWC focuses on these areas. RWC operates as a non-government, not for profit organisation which does not serve the interests of any political party. RWC was established according to the requirements of the Royal Government of Cambodia.
RWC was received the grant support from The Catholic Agency for Oversea Development (CAFOD) to implement the project namely “Increased access to improved water source and safe drinking water in Sdock Pravoeuk commune, Rukhaki district, Battambang province” with budget amount USD 63,069.50. This project goal is community health is improved by increasing access to safe water and safe drinking water. This project implementation for 22 months of actions to achieve the overall goal of project as” the most marginalized families and community increased access to safe drinking water for their daily needs through improved water supply in their community”.

Therefore, RWC is proposing this project intervention to address the health problem from poor drinking water quality and hygiene practice through our key intervention on water safety plan and WASH behaviour change communication support for most marginalised and community groups in their community.
The objective and approach of the audit

As required in the financing contract, an audit on only project KAM 139 shall be conducted upon its completion.

Based on the information, the auditor is expected to produce reports which are objective and contain detailed recommendations for improving the RWC’s accounting and system as well as administrative procedures and performance, when appropriate. The audit shall also make recommendations on how could facilitate the improvement of RWC’s accounting and administration procedures, if deemed necessary.
The expected outcomes/outputs should be submitted to RWC by end of September 2023
The report shall be produced in English language and will be signed by the auditor, and certified, signed and sealed by a senior member of the auditing organisation. The auditor will make available electronic documents and three paper copies of the report, including the management letter. These shall be provided to RWC at the following address provided in the contact details.
