Equitable Cambodia (EC) is a Cambodian organization working to promote development that respects and protects human rights, sustainable natural resources, transparency and social justice in a democratic way. Equitable Cambodia was registered by the Ministry of Interior as a Cambodian national non-governmental organization in 2012.

The EC’s Development Watch (DW) is currently looking for a qualified candidate to fulfill the position of Consultancy for Producing Short Video Clips, with length of 3 minutes (summary) and 8-10 minutes. Videos will be used to support EC’s public outreach regarding human rights in Koh Kong province, Cambodia

Contract duration: September 1st-30th, 2023. The final products must be delivered no later than September 30th, 2023.

Duties

Under the supervision of the DW Program Manager, the Consultant will be responsible for the following tasks:
Develop work plans and timetables and the scenarios for two short video clips. The development of the work plan and scenario will be based on DW case worker and approved by ECs Executive Director and the ToR.
Conduct video shooting and sound recording. The video shooting will mostly take place in Sre Ambel, Koh Kong, and the EC office.
The videos will be produced using footage shot by the video editor in conjunction with materials from EC.
Voice-over narration will be recorded by the Video Editor.
Editing the video clips.
Translate and add English subtitles to the final video material (in consultation with EC staff).
The videos contain appropriate minimum quality with a clear background, sound, and light.
The video will capture stories related to the Koh Kong communities’ advocacy related to a land dispute. in two short video clips: a 3 minute summary of the case, and a longer 8-10 minute video.

Requirements

The video/film producer or firm shall have the following qualifications and competencies:
Experience in producing short video clips or films.
Evidence of previous similar work, and attached with some references.
Native-like fluency with both Khmer and English

Interested consultants should submit a proposal, including the following items:

Summary of relevant consultant experience and background (CV can be provided separately)
Examples of previous related work
Brief summary of the proposed methodology for the Producing Short Video Clips . Team structure, roles and responsibilities and time allocation if applicable.
Budget, including consultant costs and expenses (inclusive of the consultancy fee). The VAT 10% or withholding Tax 15% and other taxes shall be included in the proposed budget.
