Job Summary

In the last few years, the renewable energy sector is witnessing a change at an unprecedented pace. The shift towards decentralization and decarbonization is creating new opportunities for Energy Security, Energy Affordability and Environment Sustainability. Copper Mountain Energy is at forefront of this movement.

Founded in 2018, Copper Mountain Energy (“CME”), a Vietnam-based firm specializes in investing and developing renewable energy and energy efficiency projects, has grown to become the largest developer in distributed energy sector. In 2021 CME extended its business to Cambodia.

The main role of the position is to identify and prepare business cases for energy efficiency in Cambodia.

Duties
  • To identify clients with any option for Energy Efficiency
  • To undertake site inspection to detail the technologies for energy efficiency.
  • Calculate initial cost benefit analysis for client and CME
  • To provide support to the design team prepare the initial and final proposals for the client.
  • To perform other relevant tasks as requested by the Management.
Requirements
  • Education
  • Bachelor Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or related field,
  • with any course on energy efficiency and or renewable energy
  • Language
  • Good at English
  • Related experiences
  • Skills:
  • Specific knowledge of Energy Efficiency/Renewable Energy and general knowledge of electric systems. Knowledge of energy saving from different technologies such as: Compressed Air systems, Boilers, Aircon and fan cooling systems, solar hot water systems,any other energy efficiency technology;
  • Experience with design and installation of Energy Efficiency systems.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English and Khmer language both verbally and in writing.
  • Computer literacy and especially MS Offices, MS Project, Auto CAD, Projects 2000.
  • Interest in Business Development knowledge.
  • Good interpersonal skill.
