The 4th Country Strategic was developed based on a child rights situation analysis, which assessed the root causes and gaps at the household, community, district, and national levels which result in children’s rights being violated or unfulfilled. Based on this analysis, five strategic programs were prioritized and focused on in the next five years, and those country core program include: Healthy Start, Protection Plus, Lifelong Learning and Girls Leadership. Plan International Cambodia’s four Core Program reflects a lifespan approach that addresses the needs of adolescent girls and young women in Cambodia. By 2026, we aim to reach 2.5 million girls especially adolescent girls and young women in Cambodia - 1 million directly and 1.5 million indirectly.
