Main Accountabilities:

The principal will oversee all the academic activities under their assignments including leading the teacher teams and focus on the environment suitable for the student to learn and develop to the best of their ability and to make sure the curriculum is followed.

The principal understands that taking this role will alter the working day from teaching days of the teacher which required pre-arrangement before the new academic that will be start.

The principal will perform the tasks but not limited to the list of key responsibilities below.

Duties

  • Working closely with academic director and school management team regarding the plan, process and school operation.

International Learning Support Manager (1 Position)

Learning Support Teacher/Manager is responsible to Principals in all matters and to the Dean of Student Affairs as the line manager. This person also interacts on a professional level with colleagues and seeks to establish and maintain productive working relationships with them.

The role will include teaching directly, resource and programme preparation, demonstrating practice, strategy or techniques so that:

  • Students receive appropriate learning programmes on an ongoing basis
  • Teachers can use the skills they have acquired with these students

A Learning Support Teacher/Manager provides high quality Learning Support throughout the school that caters for the individual needs of children with specific learning difficulties. Additional duties include the following:

Duties
  • To manage the Learning Support Center within SISC and be responsible for ensuring a high quality and effective service
  • To be accountable for ensuring that the records of additional support provision are kept accurately up-to-date
  • Work with identified students and their teachers as well as learning support assistants
  • To conduct appropriate audits and observations of learning support assistants
  • To undertake early assessment of support needs for identified students
  • To promote the services of the learning support team
  • To ensure that all learning support assistants are prepared, focused and supported to be able to deliver high quality learning and teaching
  • Providing remedial instruction in basic skills such as reading and writing to students who need extra support
  • Monitoring student progress and providing feedback to help students meet their goals
  • Provide advice and assist with the implementation of the identified student’s education plan
  • The ability to access and use information and communication technologies and materials to enhance and support literacy and numeracy intervention programmes

Requirements

  • Evidence of recently undertaken professional development and subsequent practical application and impact

Duties

  • Use a different learning & teaching method suitable for children, and expected learning outcomes

Co-Teacher (3 Positions)

Duties
  • Assist lead teachers with the lesson preparation by getting materials ready and setting up equipment
  • Work with the teacher to monitor the class schedule

  • Assist in daycare services: students’ breakfast, lunch, nap time, story time, etc.

The Student Affairs Counselor supports enrollment will maximize student success and enhance the school experience for all students. The job of the Student Affairs Counselor is to provide support to the instructional process with specific responsibility for assisting students with academic success, behavioral success, positive school attendance, and other social/emotional needs; providing information and recommendations to parents and students; taking a collaborative role in school-wide student support programming and activities; and assisting in the development of goals and plans for achievement.   • Activities associated with guidance counselor programming include: Activities associated with essential work of a School Counselor include, but are not limited to:
  • Working directly with students and parents/caregivers to have a positive effect on student performance through individual and group counseling, crisis intervention, and home visits.
  • Providing individual counseling sessions or leading/directing small group counseling as needed.
