Reports to: Cambodia Program Director

The Marine Project Coordinator contributes to the implementation and administration of Wild Earth Allies’ (WEA) coastal and conservation interventions in Cambodia, which furthers our global mission of protecting vital areas of our natural world for the benefit of wildlife, habitats and people.

This position implements field activities, in support of WEA’s Marine Project, which include: coordinate field surveys and research on priority marine ecosystems (seagrass beds, corals, mangroves); facilitate effective co-management of community fisheries in Kampot and Kep Provinces; conduct environmental awareness campaigns; support Cambodia government in Marine Fisheries Management Areas. This position will operate with effective, transparent and legally appropriate support to WEA’s program in Cambodia in accordance with specific donor requirements, WEA norms and international best practice.
