CRS returned to Cambodia in 1991 and works in close partnership with government, local NGOs and international NGOs in the sectors of health and education. CRS’ head office is located in Phnom Penh.

Job Summary:  

The Human Resources Assistant Intern will provide comprehensive and timely information, clerical, and administrative assistance to meet specific HR service needs that support high-quality programs serving the poor and vulnerable. You will deliver quality support in your role, applying clearly defined HR processes, procedures and service standards.

Duties
  • Provide administrative and clerical support to HR transactions and processes. Prepare, type, photocopy, and scan employment-related documentation, such as employment contracts, termination letters, salary technical adjustments letters, materials for staff learning and development events, etc.
  • Provide responsive and high-quality service to employees with requests on personnel administration and clerical issues.
  • Provide support to recruitment process: collecting CVs, greeting candidates, setting up tests and interviews, reference check, etc.
  • Compile documentation and data, perform data entry and data verification on personnel administration transactions (e.g. leave balances, staff attendance, etc.) and personnel filling.
  • Support maintenance of personnel files, compiling and updating employee records (hard and soft copies)
  • Contribute to coordinating logistical arrangements for staff events, such as staff retreats, staff learning and development events (workshops, trainings), orientations, welcome/farewell parties.
  • Support in converting timecards of HIV seconded staff for ART site supervisor to sign as per donor requirements and then file.
  • Support new staff in completing CRS mandatory courses through CRSLearns, other courses required by GF donors and track certificates of completion.
  • Support, and coordinate with managers, new staff orientation and prepare draft/issue staff ID card.
  • Assist in draft letter for both KH and EN for Programs and Operations as per requested/assigned by the supervisor
  • Assist in translation for both EN and KH as requested/assigned by the supervisor
  • Contact new staff and others to get their COVID vaccine card for updating in the tracking sheet
  • Assist Human Resources Manager in asset counting committee twice a year with Supply Chain Manager and asset counting committee members.
  • Support new staff to complete timecards, leave and other holidays to ensure timeliness and accuracy.
  • Support in receiving/submission documents to/from line ministries in the absence of HR and Admin Officers.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma required. Professional diploma/certificate or courses in Administration or Human Resources Management a plus.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management or Business Administration a plus.
  • Fresh Graduated or a minimum of one year work experience in an administrative and/or human resources assistant role with some familiarity of human resources practices.
  • Experience with an international organization a plus.
  • Additional education may substitute for some experience.
  • Experience using MS Windows and MS Office packages, in particular Excel and Word. Hands-on experience with data entry into online databases and forms.
