MHO is the first and currently only crisis pregnancy center in Cambodia. MHO has developed a program that is at the forefront of preventing child family separation and supporting women with unplanned or unwanted pregnancies. We proactively support single women and their families through crisis pregnancies ensuring that every unplanned/unwanted baby of a single woman is either raised by his/her mother, extended family, or is placed in permanent foster care. MHO has two main programs: 1. Crisis Pregnancy Counseling 2. Pregnancy Support Program. Through our Crisis Pregnancy Counseling program, every woman is able to make informed decisions on what is best for her and the future of her baby. Our Pregnancy Support program offers women access to support if they want to parent their babies, find close relatives who can parent their babies, or place their babies in a new family.

Mid Wife

Report to: Senior Social Worker

Duties
  • Manage pregnant women/girls medical cases including schedules for immunization, ANC, PNC, delivery, follow up visits, etc.
  • Work as part of a team in collaboration with the social workers.
  • Travel and overnight stay to other provinces to follow up on MHO’s beneficiaries if needs.
  • Provide hands on care to women/girls weighing babies, helping with breast feeding, checking infant development, identifying and appropriately handling medical concerns.
  • Be an advocate for medical needs of pregnant women and their babies.
  • Teach health classes to MHO’s beneficiaries (antenatal, delivery, postnatal, parenting education, breast feeding, etc.)
  • Facilitate the women and children to have medical appointments. Answering beneficiary’s questions about their medical concerns, supporting them during their pregnancy and after.
  • Distribute the baby basket or other need materials to support to MHO’s beneficiaries
  • Be prepared to deal with MHO’s beneficiaries in medical crisis and offered specific case management to varying beneficiary’s medical needs.
  • Coordinate with the social workers and government health agencies and care giver schedules according to MHO’s beneficiaries needs.
  • Partner with health center staff, referral health department, health clinics, and other hospitals, etc.
  • Be partnering with local and International NGOs in term of bringing benefit to MHO’s beneficiaries
  • Create professional caring relationships with MHO’s beneficiaries and staff
  • Willing to Hospital at night if it is necessary for visit women/babies.
Requirements
  • Midwife or Nurse Graduate
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong critical thinking skills and good teamwork
  • Willing to learn the new thing/new initiative and creativities to improve works
  • Experience in caring for pregnant women/crisis pregnancy women
  • Be an honest, proactive, adaptable, and kind person
  • Be highly organized, observant, able to plan, clearly communication, and problem solve.
  • Language requirement: good command of English

Accountant and Administrative Assistance

Duties
  • Accounting Support
  • Prepare, write and check vouchers correctly and bring them for upper level seek approval
  • Bring the Finance Vouchers to get them copied.
  • Stamp paid on the receipts and Invoices.
  • Payment other expenses within BTB programming as oversee payment of office rental, water, wasting, other goods, electricity bill and etc.
  • Coding correctly of budget line of each donor in to vouchers
  • Posting vouchers in to MHO Accounting System
  • Do monthly reporting of financing/income and expenses
  • Keep updating the NSSF Information.
  • Help staff to claim with NSSF and support administrative on staff insurance
  • Arrange all staff contracts and file them properly.
  • Prepare the stuff especially the formula milk, other document delivery within BTB and PNP programs
  • Prepare the docs for auditing.
  • Prepare Formula sheet to order them.
  • Doing Monthly Cash Count and daily recording cash book
  • Keep updating the fix Asset List and put the new sticker on it.
  • Scanning or take the photo of the finance vouchers including the receipts or invoice and send them to Finance/Adm Assistant in PP for doing Monthly tax online
  • Administrative and Clerical Support
  • Serve staff in purchasing needs. This includes purchases to be made at the program area and the purchases to be made by other staff through financial policy
  • Form and process quotation.
  • Help staff in preparing VOUCHER forms for advances, reimbursement or direct payments to be done at program office. This includes putting in correct accounts and analysis codes. Also, serve and alert staff in outstanding vouchersBe responsible for Organization assets. Ensure fixed assets guidelines from the organization policy are applied
  • Ensure that inventory logs are correctly maintained and up to date for material items stored
  • Manage all organization administrative issues including communication, preparing incoming and outgoing letter and proactive follow up if/as needed.
  • Assist Finance and Admin Manager in project documentation requirement and ensure that files can be properly located.
  • Help prepare memo, e-mail message, invitation letter and other correspondence as requested.
  • Responsible for office supplies, phone card distribution to all staffs.
  • Ensure that Office Standard policies are followed and that facilities and equipment are well maintained.
  • Coordinate logistic support for meeting/training/workshops or another special event
  • Help ED and SMT member to propose and consolidate the agenda and record the SMT minute meeting
  • Ensure office and room/latrine are cleaned
  • Responsible to properly supervise transportation staff including schedule, fueling, vehicle/motorbikes maintenance, logbook and OT documentation.
  • Responsible to properly supervise the other office support positions such as guard(s) and cleaner(s).
  • Help to recording staff Leave.
  • Prepare the baby baskets, nappies, formula milk and other item as needs
  • Assist ED to take quarterly and six months reports to relevant ministries/department.
  • Any other tasks as required by ED and Organization
  • Attending the meeting or training related to the Job.
Requirements
  • Major Job Requirement:
  • Associated degree in accounting or business administrative
  • Bachelor of business administrative (Finance/accounting)
  • Minimum 1-year experiences in handing accounting and administrative together
  • Knowledge and experiences of handing of office budget
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Language requirement: Excellence of English language as Writing, Reading and Speaking
  • At least two years experiences in working with as accounting, administrative and other office works
  • Be an honest, proactive, adaptable, and alternative to details and ability to work independently on tasks and assignment
  • Be highly administrative works as filing, documenting, recording and etc.
  • Computer skills, Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
