World Vision International-Cambodia (WVI-C) is working closely with Governemnt ministiries, local partners and community groups, we work in partnership with communities to improve the lives of Camboida children through a focus on for key areas including Nutrirition with supporting approaches of Local Value Chain Development (LVCD), Education, Children Protection, and Youth. World Vision International-Cambodia (WVI-C) is committed to collaborating and working with partners to advocate for more significant and more sustainable impact in the lives of vulnerable children.

CAST-Cambodia is a five-year project funded by the United State Department of Agriculture (USDA). CAST-Cambodia aims to promote the commercialization and trade of aquaculture in Cambodia by improving aquaculture productivity and expanding trade for domestic and international markets. This aim will be achieved through increasing productivity of aquaculture operations, improving quality and accessibility of inputs (seed and feed), better market linkages, and enabling supporting environment (services, policy, financing). The project is implemented by the American Soybean Association (ASA/WISHH) in partnership with World Vison International, KSU, Auburn University, RUA/CE SAIN, Agri-Master Co., Ltd, MAFF’s Fisheries Administration and other national and international partners targeting six provinces of Cambodia including Kandal, Kampong Cham, Kampong Thom, Siem Reap, Battambang, and Pursat.

Our Cambodia Office (WV) is looking for a professional and experienced Business Service Provider Institute or company to provide a BDS Training Package of 5 business management topics and coaching to 40 selected SMEs in aqucucuture value chain within six targeted provinces including also Phnom Penh in fisical year 2023. The designed program and training delivery to SMEs will be last for 6 months’ period with five base topics that will start from Feb 2023 to Aug 2023.

Our Cambodia Office (WV) is looking for a professional and experienced Business Service Provider Institute or company to provide capacity building on Business Development Services training package to SMEs in aquaculture sector.

Role and Responsibilities

Requirements
Key requirements that interested consultants are expected to meet as below:
To review CAST related documents including assessments in order to clarifie roles and responsibilities for developing BDS capacity building to SMEs in aquaculture sector.
To coordinate with WV-CAST staff to tailor the sessions and agree on the content and use the existing developed curricula to deliver the training and coaching.
To provide capacity building on business skills related topics as listed in the key deliverable table of section V. .
To ensure all trainees will adopt the tool and material provided and are able to develop or co-create Business Plan (40 SMEs)
To provide support on finding gaps or area to improve in SMEs’ capcity through learning by doing, and addressing those gaps.
To develop coaching sessions per agreed topic and delivery to trainees on the schedule set.
To conduct inclusive business coaching and mentoring through one-on-one coaching, peer to peer or group coaching.
To conduct pre and post test training and produce a brief report for each of the training topics or coaching trip
To coordinate quarterly reflection and learning with WV-CAST team to identify concrete actions for future implementation. Documentation of the reflection, learning and recommendations are documented and submitted to WV-CAST.
To coordinate promotion activities for the trainings in each training batch; examples, include video online, press release via facebook page.
To conduct monitoring and reporting on progress and evidence based on agreed metrics, both quantitatively and qualitatively output.
To produce the story of change of the SMEs and share as on going basis.

Application Information

Candidates are requested to prepare and submit Proposal with the following elements:

Proposed methodology (not exceeding 5 pages)
Detailed proposed work plan
CV of the consultant firm (if relevant) (not exceeding 2 pages)
Summary CV of similar experience (not exceeding a quarter page per team member)
Samples of previous similar pieces of work (not exceeding 2 pieces of work)
Contact of references
Detailed financial proposal in US Dollar describing consulting fees, international and national travels, costs of facilitators, transport and accommodation
Written confirmation of availability during the indicated timeframe
