We are currently seeking seven Field Officers for a mixed-method study on Multiple Micronutrient Supplementation (MMS) for pregnant women to inform policy and programming in Cambodia.
Scope of the Position:
Helen Keller is seeking four Field Officers to support a mixed method study on MMS for pregnant women, which seeks to assess the influence of a diverse range of factors that affect MMS acceptability and adherence among pregnant women in Cambodia. This research project has three main objectives: (i) to assess user acceptability and adherence in consumption of iron-folic acid supplementation (IFAS) vs. MMS as intended, and to understand product characteristics, barriers and facilitators associated with treatment acceptability and adherence, (ii) to understand contextual facilitators and barriers affecting optimal uptake and adherence to micronutrient supplement regimens during pregnancy, and (iii) to engage health care workers and pregnant women in a participatory approach to improve MMS uptake and adherence among pregnant women. The position will be based in Kampong Thom province. Field Officers will report to the MMS Project Manager, and will collaborate closely with the M&E team and other Helen Keller staff.
