Senior Frontend Developer (2 Positions)

A Senior Frontend Developer is in charge of building and maintaining web applications and systems which set up to work closely with a product manager, UX/UI designer, and other developers to Maximize speed with a consistent and reliable web experience and improved user experience for users, and optimized web design for mobile-friendly, tablet-friendly, and other platforms for maximum speed.

Duties
  • Collaborate with the development team, growth team, management team, and production team to improve the existing products
  • Optimize and improve responsive for applications for maximum speed
  • Work closely with the Backend Developer to report and update the problem and troubleshoot to the product manager
  • Ensure high-quality graphic standards and brand consistency
  • Stay up-to-date on emerging technologies
  • Additional duties and responsibilities as required by the Product Manager
  • Participating in code reviews and testing new features to ensure they are compatible with existing features
  • Reviewing requirements from clients and creating designs that meet their needs
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Technology, associate’s degree or technical certification or relevant field
  • Possess at least 2-3 years of experience in web development
  • Experience with HTML5, CSS, Javascript, Responsive Design, and jQuery
  • Experience with VueJS and NuxtJS for at least 1-2 years Experience with RESTful APIs is plus
  • Understanding of server-side and backend side
  • An ability to perform well in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent analytical and multitasking skills Familiarity with browser testing and debugging

Senior Mobile Developer (1 Position)

Senior Mobile Developer is in charge of developing our  Sala App, as well as, supporting  junior developers to develop our Sala app to be an app that enhances student journey. To add on, you also have to work closely with our backend developers, product manager, and other stakeholders in the company to make sure that the features and updates that are going to be released have a positive impact on students and also smoothen their academic life. You are also expected to test and check up with any new features,  changes, or updates across multiple platforms including tablets and phones.

Duties
  • Design and build the advanced and user friendly application for the Android/iOS platform
  • Maintain the mobile apps, bug fixing, and improve performance
  • Design the architecture of new products/features
  • Report the situation and problem to the Product Manager
  • Work closely with top management to set out a vision for the mobile development team
  • Analyzing data from user feedback surveys to determine the effectiveness of new features or product designs
  • Providing technical support and troubleshooting problems with existing applications,
  • Managing projects involving multiple developers in order to ensure that all deadlines are met
  • Creating and maintaining a list of bugs or issues identified during testing, along with a description of the steps required to reproduce them
  • Reviewing application requirements from clients and creating designs based on these requirements
  • Designing, developing, testing, and maintaining mobile applications for Student
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology or equivalent in a related field
  • A minimum of 2-4 years experience working on mobile applications
  • Proficient in Dart and Flutter (Native in Android/iOS is plus)
  • Understand the deployment/configuration to Android and iOS
  • Experience with version control such as Github/Gitlab
  • Good understanding of computer science concepts, design patterns, algorithms, and data structures
  • Understanding of UX best practices and a desire to achieve excellent usability
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

Event and Activation Executive

The Event and Activation Executive is responsible for offline marketing and handles end to end project management and event planning to ensure that every event is successfully executed with the right campaign that can draw in the target audiences and raise our brand awareness.

Duties
  • Marketing campaigns, the channels you will be in charge of are: Offline Activation, event and sponsorship, including events at partner spots
  • Strategy: understand the market, where we can meet our potential target through partner branding , acquire new customers, meet business and growth KPIs
  • Creatively: coordinate the creation of brand compliant assets, brief creative, source and bring to life your ideas
  • Handle end to end project management, to make sure our campaign meets the target audience to drive more awareness and grow a student and acquisition
  • Work cross-functionally, both internally with growth team and external service providers
  • Work closely with Growth Lead to establish SOPs Work closely across functions with growth team to drive offline marketing initiative
  • Maintain spreadsheets (project plans), prepare guidelines and desk to make sure all information is well recorded and up-to-date
  • Offline Marketing, analyze campaign performance in end-of-campaign reports , with results key outcome and learnings
  • Support with regular competitor analysis and study new marketing trends
  • Other duties assigned by growth lead
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree or At least year 4 student with degree in Business/Management/Finance or relevant
  • 1-2 years professional e-commerce corporate and vendor partnership / marketing experience
  • Abilities to analyze critical thinking Knowledge of Sala Tech Digital business
  • Able to perform marketing tool and other tools
  • Able to do multitasking tasks & travel
  • Able to work as a team & individual and handle the pressure
  • Self motivated team player with a proven ability to work with aggressive individual and team goal
  • Excellent oral, written and presentation skills
  • Languages: Fluent English and local languages is a plus
 

Project Management Officer

The Project Management Officer is responsible for assisting the Product Manager to implement project activities. This also includes coordinating any activities and making sure the projects run smoothly according to the planning which includes scheduling, reporting and documenting.

Duties
  • Maintain project calendar, scheduling meetings, and milestones
  • Manage and assist the flow of crucial information among team members
  • Work with relevant colleagues to collect and systematize all available data and information on the status, key threats, and issues related to the project and present field data gathered for further analysis and for communications products
  • Conduct project meetings as needed and represent the project in discussions with partners and stakeholders.
  • Assimilate with other project members and stakeholders, organize meetings, workshops, and training courses, and assist workshops and discussions under the project
  • Additional duties and responsibilities as required by the Product Manager
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business or Project Management or an equivalent degree or work experience
  • At least 1 year of experience in Product Management and/or Product Development process
  • Having knowledge of the development process is favorable
  • Strong Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
  • Significant knowledge of project management including estimation, negotiation, and build-out with solid working exposure
  • Fast learner with the ability to adapt to change quickly
  • Excellent minutes taking, report writing, and presentation skills
  • Proficient computer literacy and software programs
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure and accomplish short and long-term deadlines
  • Working independently and well with and contributing effectively to a team
