In Cambodia, SNV implements the projects in the agriculture, energy and water, sanitation and hygiene (WASH) sectors. Using market-based approaches, we emphasize environmental sustainability and inclusive development. We lower the barriers to economic and social development and promote local ownership. Active in the Kingdom of Cambodia since 2005, our work is aligned with the country’s national development priorities and strategies. We work in close collaboration with the royal government, civil society and private sector. Our multi- national team of experts works from our national office in Phnom Penh.
Currently SNV Cambodia is looking for CHAIN Audit Proposal from period of 01st January 2021 to 31th December 2021.
Objective of the External Audit
The objective of the external process audit of CHAIN project is to enable the auditor to express a professional opinion (s) on the financial statement and on funds received and expenditures incurred for the relevant accounting period of the project expenditure of the year 2021 (January – December) according with require ToR by donor, the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC), enclosed in the Annex 1.
The Financial Information of the project/program shall be audited in accordance with International Standards on Auditing (ISA 805) “Special Considerations Audits of Single Financial Statements and Specific Elements, Accounts or Items of a Financial Statement”.
Reporting
The scope of the audit shall be stated in the report and the methodology used shall be presented. The reporting shall be signed by the responsible auditor (not just the audit firm) and title.

The selected auditing firm is expected to conduct the audit assignment in February 2022.
