The Australian Embassy is seeking applications for an Executive Assistant to the Ambassador & Public Diplomacy Officer.
The position provides high-level executive support to the Australian Ambassador, including organising official events and functions. The position also contributes to the Embassy’s public diplomacy agenda, including campaign implementation and supporting the Embassy’s social media and online presence under the direction of the First Secretary – Public Affairs.
This position is available immediately, and after an initial three-month probationary period, the successful candidate may be offered a 24-month contract, with the possibility of renewal and ultimately permanent employment.
A competitive salary package is offered, including participation in a performance management and bonus scheme. The basic monthly salary range for the position is USD1,406 to USD1,706.
Candidates must be able to obtain and maintain an Australian security clearance and must therefore hold citizenship of Australia, Canada, New Zealand, the USA or the United Kingdom and be entitled to work at a diplomatic mission in Phnom Penh.
