Main Purpose of Job:

The Head of ELT Institute’s main jobs are to research, develop and evaluate the curricula, learning and teaching procedures and educational materials within the ELT Institute aligned with ESL standards. The incumbent must be committed to improving learning and teaching practices through collaboration with staff, local and international community, students and parents. He or she should be able to use new and existing resources to ensure student needs are met, and educational goals are achieved.

Duties
  • Provide strategic and overall direction in the institute system and innovation.
  • Create an institute Vision, Mission & Core Values and provide direction for execution.
  • Develop new curricula with the help of teachers, students, and other staff.
  • Make sure the institute meet with the financial target and positive return on investment.
  • Network and build professional relationships with members of the ELT Institute and the community.
  • Monitor the progress of new and existing teaching methods.
  • Closely evaluate results at the end of each quarter and writing up progress reports.
  • Supervise all ELT Institute recruitment and vet prospective teachers.
  • Identify areas for improvement and schedule workshops for new and existing staff.

Requirements
  • Master's Degree in education administration or a related field.
  • At least 3 years of experience in leading and managing the International Institute.
  • A Native speaker is preferred.
  • Teaching certification and previous teaching experience.
  • The ability and patience to draft several documents and policies.
  • The ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
  • First-class organizational skills.
  • The ability to use tact and diplomacy in interactions with all relevant parties.
  • A strong ethical code.

Main Purpose of Job:

The role of the Principal is to provide leadership, direction and co-ordination within the schools. The Principal's main focus is to develop and maintain effective educational programs within his/her school and to promote the improvement of teaching and learning with his/her school

Duties
  • Provide strategic direction in the school system
  • Implement the school Vision, Mission & Core Values of academic success for students
  • Develop standardized curricula
  • Assess learning and teaching methods
