Duties
  • As it’s a fresh operation site, ground work is needed to build and establish the MT function (under the management’s guidance) from scratch, respecting an ISO structure (best practices implementation from company’s site in Thailand)
  • Perform/conduct preventive maintenance of machineries and capital equipments according to fixed daily, weekly, monthly and annual maintenance plans.
  • Minimize the downtime of production and utility machineries, by reduction of time taken to fix the problems and restore normal operation
  • Identify gaps/non-value added activities and propose solutions with continuous improvement mindset to bring in efficiencies in the entire operation (improvement of KPI metrics such as OEE, waste reduction, cycle time reduction etc)
  • Spare part management (order, receipt, issue, return)
  • Being the point of contact for all Technical matters, necessary coordination with other functions such as Production, Warehouse, Purchase, Accounting
  • Taking lead in assigned Technical projects to complete them as per the established budget and timeframe.
  • Ability to generate and establish technical reports to the management
  • Educate production and other user functions on proper use of equipment to enhance efficiencies and increase uptime
  • Be an advocate of plant safety and energy saving, keep constant eye on these areas and highlight issues when necessary or propose ways for improvement
  • Other duties, as may be assigned by management
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Mechanical or other related
  • 3-5 years experience in Technical and/or Maintenance function from manufacturing.
  • A proactive and “Go-Getter” attitude needed in order to be successful in this role
  • Familiar with general maintenance e.g Preventive Maintenance, Breakdown maintenance, etc
  • Having experience with building utility machineries (electricity, air compressor, exhaust system, etc)
  • Knowledge of PLC, Pneumatic, Hydraulic systems
  • Preferably candidates from Food manufacturing well versed with universal standards such as ISO, HACCP, GMP, BRC
  • Computer literacy (MS Office and Auto CAD)
  • Ability to read and interpret Engineering drawings, machine manuals
  • Leadership and high responsibility
  • Having the ability to analyze problems and coordinate
  • Good command of English and Khmer (reading, writing, speaking)
