Context
PArTNER (Partnership for Agroecology Transition, Networking, and Efficient Resilience) project is mutually implemented by 2 Belgian-NGOs (Eclosio and Louvain Cooperation) in Cambodia. This project is funded by DGD (Belgian Government Funds) for 5 years from 2022 to 2026. The project provides direct supports to farmer organization (FO) partners, with partial supports from collaborators (NGOs, social enterprises, private companies, etc.).
Tramkak Union of Agriculture Cooperatives (TrUAC) and Battambang Union of Agriculture Cooperatives (BUAC) will be the implementing partners of the PArTNER project. The project aims at enhancing FOs’ capacities in their business management, promoting agroecology transition among its beneficiaries, strengthening their institutional functions, building market linkages for UACs’ products, increasing market access and access to finance as well as reinforcing collaborations between UAC and relevant stakeholders.

The position work with TrUAC in Takeo province
Description of the Roles:
The TrUAC Business Development Facilitator is working directly under the supervision of the Board of Director (BoD) of TrUAC with the backstopping support of the Program Senior FO Support Officer. S/He will coordinate the work with farmer’ representatives from existing 03 Agriculture Cooperatives, in which the number of ACs could be increased every year, that are operating and locating in the Tramkok district, Takeo province. The main responsibilities of the TrUAC Business Development Facilitator are to ensure the business of TrUAC is in the progress, the TrUAC management is maintained following procedures and requirements of the programme, the communication between TrUAC and AC members/farmers and with stakeholders is strengthened, etc.
The positionwork with BUAC in Battambang province
Description of the Roles:
The BUAC Business Development Facilitator is working directly under the supervision of the Board of Director (BoD) of BUAC with the backstopping support of the Program Senior FO Support Officer. S/He will coordinate the work with farmer’ representatives from existing 10 Agriculture Cooperatives, in which the number of ACs could be increased every year, that are operating and locating in the Battambang province. The main responsibilities of the BUAC Business Development Facilitator are to ensure the business of BUAC is in progress, the BUAC management is maintained following procedures and requirements of the programme, the communication between BUAC and AC members/ farmers, and with stakeholders is strengthened, etc.
