Product Development Manager (1 Position)

Duties
  • Develop and modify the policies, procedures and documents for Credit financial product
  • Manage, organize, motivate staff under his/ her supervision to work toward the achievement of AMK’s product roadmap and its execution strategies
  • Be the leader of taskforce team in a development and improvement of new and existing financial product including product concept development, change request to developer, Create Test Case, Joint and Perform UAT testing and issue logs and escalate to MIS/Core Banking team, concept of pilot-testing, monitoring and evaluation.
  • Manage the overall financial product development project to ensure that the actual progresses are on track (following and monitoring the actual progress against planning, deliverables of the project, and update regularly to head department)
  • Manage, Monitor and collaborate with project team members to make sure their all tasks are met with the agreed detailed plan
  • Prepare and arrange the project committee meeting to ensure that the meeting is conducted by weekly basis and the meeting minute must be taken and shared to all project committee members
  • Monitor, prepare, and coordinate the readiness of team and stakeholders to make sure all things are delivered and ready for launching financial product in the pilot and/or rollout smoothly
  • Work with others departments to collect ideas or feedbacks from clients, staff and partners for better improving of current products and services as well as initiating the possibility of product bundling for each specific segment of AMK’s market.
  • Assist in overseeing the feedback collection analysis and give recommendations for ensuring the smoothness of policies and procedures implementation and product modification.
  • Regularly report the progress of all product development projects which are under his/her supervision, including the challenges and suggestions to be addressed, to head of product development.
Requirements
  • Master or Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economic Sciences, Finance and Banking, etc;
  • Be familiar with MFI environment;
  • At least two years experience on Products Development and services development offered by other financialinstitution;
  • High capability to handle multiple tasks and complexities and Well Project Management efficiency and effectively;
  • Flexibilities of collaboration with all staff level both within AMK and external;
  • Knowledge and understanding of Core Banking, research design, quantitative and qualitative analysis tools and experience coordinating fieldwork;
  • Honesty, positive attitude, ability to think creatively and excellent interpersonal skills (team building, presentations and public speaking, facilitation and consensus building);
  • Strong conceptualization and analytical skills and capacity to contribute to future planning;

Duties
  • Implement sales target and action plans to achieve expected productivity and quality.
  • Assist branch manager to distribute sales targets to sales team members and engage them to deliver outstanding performance for their own and high profitability for the branch.
  • Implement the company’s strategies to penetrate markets in the operational areas.
  • Ensure that the right clients are selected, all applications are well reviewed before approving, good customer services are delivered, and portfolio is well monitored.
  • Help sales team build and maintain close relationships with prospects and clients,
  • Ensure that the branch has enough facilities, adequate number of non-credit salespeople and those employees are well trained, and all processes are in place to perform services for customers.
  • Oversee overall performance and the quality of customer service the salespeople delivered to ensure customer satisfaction. Take remedial actions if weakness or issue is found.
  • Ensure that all AMK customers get aware of all the channels made available to them so as to promote cross-sales and repeated business.
  • Lead team members to solving related operational issues and problems on the ground.
  • Work with branch manager to conduct annual appraisal and ensure that subordinates’ strength and weakness are well identified and improved.
  • Pinpoint business opportunities in existing and new operational areas and bring forward to branch manager.
  • Help branch manager observe market trends to better understand competition and to identify threats.
  • Lead salespeople to implementing all marketing activities such as promotional campaigns, new product rollouts, and so on.
  • Report about problems or issues regarding such operational materials as policies, procedures, etc., and questions or concerns raised by subordinates to the branch manager.
  • Report the information about changes market competition.
  • Report summarized information on some regular basis (weekly, monthly, or whatever) in terms of any activity or results.
  • Ensure good working environment at workplace, subordinates have good relationship with one another and a good liaison with other stakeholders.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration (banking, finance, accounting, economics, or marketing)
  • Three-year experiences in sales and operations management in microfinance and banking industry
  • Two-years experiences in supervisory or managerial positions.
  • Ability to critically analyze market which includes the competitor, economic and social environment.
  • Ability to effectively manage data and information related to the job including tracking, analyzing, reporting, and following compliance on time.
  • Ability to identify complex problems and review related information to develop and evaluate options and implement solutions.
  • Knowledge of economic principles and practices, microfinance and banking markets.
  • Knowledge of principles and methods for showing, promoting, and selling products and services. This includes marketing strategy and tactics, product demonstration, sales techniques, and sales control system.
  • Problem solving skill and negotiation skill.

Duties

  • Presenting new product proposals and/or enhancements to committees
  • Be the leader of taskforce team in a development and improvement of new and existing non-credit product and other value added services, including product concept development, pilot-testing, monitoring and evaluation.

  • Work with partner bank and other relevant stakeholders to deal cross border transaction.
  • Manage and build relationship with existing customers to maximize the cross-selling opportunities on all available financial products and services of the company.
  • Develop and manage referral from both existing clients or other sources
  • Keep up-to-date the competitors’ information, including their products, services and other marketing activities.
