Young Entrepreneurs Association of Cambodia (YEAC) is a volunteer-driven non-profit organization which was launched in September 2009 by a team of passionate Cambodian young entrepreneurs from various sectors of businesses in Cambodia. Its mandate is to support and empower Cambodian young entrepreneurs to enhance youth entrepreneurship and success of youth-owned businesses by creating a platform for networking, sharing, learning, and synergizing business opportunities, thereby contributing to productive employments and economic development that build the next generation economy for Cambodia.

Communication Officer

In supporting our communication and Biz Info Co., Ltd. YEAC is seeking for an active individual who is interested in and looking for new experiences to fill in the role as Communication Officer.

In addition to the financial compensation, she/he will benefit from opportunity to interact with various important stakeholders and assist in managing the wholeprogram.

Duties
  • General Responsibilities
  • Provide overall management of communication and social media of YEAC
  • Build and promote communication and branding of YEAC
  • Supervise design and maintenance of the Website, APP and social medias
  • Facilitate the use of videoconferencing facilities to ensure the program run smoothly virtual, hybrid and physical arrangement 
  • Key Responsibility:
  • Coordinate and manage publication activities such as content management, publishing, design etc.;
  • Lead the development, supervise the design and maintenance of the YEAC Website and APP including content creation for the website and app.
  • Build and promote branding of YEAC through regular media contacts and provision of newsworthy information to national public and where possible other stakeholders;
  • Provide good and on time management of social media and pages of YEAC and use multi-media and social media solutions in communication strategies.
  • Design web pages, brochures, logos, signs, book, annual reports and other communication materials of the company-print digital and social media.
  • Facilitate the use of videoconferencing facilities to ensure the program run smoothly using virtual and hybrid including setting up mechanisms, systems and plans for videoconferencing for meetings, training and events of YEAC
  • Provide overall management on communication and branding material including graphic design, artwork follow to organization guideline.
  • Assist in planning, organizing, budgeting for the communication, and branding
  • Produce contents and put up YEAC promotional materials on Medias (online: Facebook, Website etc. and offline: Newspapers, Magazine, YEAC's Newsletters and annual reports) and monitor public's responses
  • Assist in public communications representing YEAC including communication to sponsors and developing partners
  • Other duties assigned by Executive Director that will support overall objective of the Association.
Requirements
  • Hold Professional Communication, Business administration, Law, economics or other related fields
  • Proficiency with required desktop publishing tools, including Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator and Adobe Premier.
  • Understanding of marketing, production, website design, corporate identity, product packaging, advertisements, and multimedia design.
  • Having at least one-year experience as a graphic designer or in related field.
  • Demonstrable graphic design skills with a strong portfolio.
  • Able to communicate in English (both writing and speaking).
  • Good communications and interpersonal skills.
  • Active and passionate in social work.

Senior Finance Officer

Duties
  • General Responsibilities
  • Provide overall financial management and taxation of YEAC
  • Lead in budgeting – budget planning and budget monitoring.
  • Develop and implement financial and asset internal control, cash count, asset listing and asset control
  • Ensure compliant by review and implementing the financial policies.
  • Keep update on tax policies and sharing to all YEAC staff and members especially for policies related MSMEs
  • Duties and Responsibilities in Details
  • Organize, lead and control the preparation of documents, forms fulfillment and calculation the tax of YEAC to paid to Tax Department (government) with accuracy and on time, which are included (Monthly &yearly tax payment)
  • Develop budget allocation and planning
  • Provide close monitoring for good financial and taxation performance of YEAC and prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports.
  • Provide technical support and capacity building for YEAC staff to comply all the requirement and doing good in financial performance.
  • Appropriately manage and prepare list of depreciation expense of YEAC and other subsidiaries in compliance with policy and the requirement of Tax Department.
  • Create tax data collection system
  • Coordinate with auditors and taxation authorities
  • Develop tax strategy and policies to support or maintain company’s benefits
  • Maintain effective control procedure over all aspects of tax process
  • Preparation on all taxes reports to management, Internal Tax audit if necessary
  • Prepare Monthly, quarterly and annually financial report for YEAC and YEAC project and ensures the submission of financial report on time with quality to donors.
  • Manage day-to-day general financial and administration of this project and supporting the staff team to compliance of finance and accounting activities within YEAC financial policy and donor requiring
  • collecting and preparing supporting documents, handle petty cash and banking included track monthly office petty cash expenditure and prepare petty cash
  • In general, provide technical support for staff to daily activity budget advance and settlement.
  • Duty and Additional Responsibility
  • Actively participate in improving personal ability (knowledge, skill, and behaviors) by evolution of YEAC.
  • Fulfils other requirement in the line with the evolution of YEAC and assigned by the direct supervisor and competence within framework of YEAC.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration/Accounting/Finance/Tax
  • At least 3 years of experience in Finance and Tax or related field
  • Knowledge of Accounting software, Excel and Taxation
  • Understanding of Tax implication, Tax reporting skill, Leadership skill, Problem solving skill, Communication skill, System knowledge, Team work, and hardworking
  • Proven organizational, financial, inventory, and budgetary skills.
  • Demonstrated oral and written communication skills in English and Khmer
  • Familiarity with financial and technical rules, regulations and procedures relevant to project implementation.

  • Videography:
  • Work closely with the team to provide video coverage for company events, trainings and other events.

Duties
  • Assist project Chair and other Committees to manage the project of CYEA
  • Set up and maintain paper and electronic filing systems for records, correspondence, and other material needed
  • Coordinate conferences and meetings including compose and distribute meeting minutes, routine correspondence, and reports
  • Operate electronic mail systems and coordinate the flow of information and communication both internally and with other stakeholders, donors and sponsors.
  • Follow ups any actions to be done by internal team and external stakeholders in appropriate and timely manner
  • Act as call center/information provider which include answer telephones/reply to incoming correspondences or refer them to appropriate individuals
  • Prepare reports which are related to the reports
  • Process payment and keep accurate records and reports

We are currently looking for a dynamic and dedicated candidate to fulfill a position as Member Engagement and Development. The Member Engagement and Development is responsible for provide overall support and development of YEAC members.

Duties
  • Member Engagement:
  • Maintain a close relation with members and YEAC chapters and partners by building up platform and create networking tool/event;
  • Lead the members’ assessment (needs assessment and members assessment) and deal with member’s suggestions and complaints;
  • Encourage and facilitate members to actively participate in any events of the association;
  • Provide guidance to members to understand the vision and mission of association and encourage them to participate in association’s events especially activities of commissions and committees 
  • Members Development and Capacity Building:
  • Provide support and coordinate the capacity building programs (MSME Championship, Acceleration, Incubation, Digitalization and Equity Financing Program) to ensure it run well and being to engage members and MSMEs to the programs.
  • Initiate and design training programs that support to the needs of YEAC’s members capacity-building through in-house training/sharing and sending member to other trainings and workshops;
  • Arrange and manage local activities /events ( Logistic and event sponsors)
  • Other duties will be assigned by Manager/Executive Director
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Management/Business Administration and other related fields of capacity development for private companies.
  • At least 3 years of experience in Capacity Development and Enterprises
  • Knowledge of Microsoft office, Word, Excel and other related
  • Sound of experience in communication with internal and external partners.
  • Demonstrated oral and written communication skills in English and Khmer
  • Flexibility, willingness to learn and coping with pressure Integrity, honesty
  • Learning and sharing knowledge and encourage the learning of other
