Duties
  • Scope of Works:
  • Liaise with Management team to set up launch plans and goals for the business form an operational standpoint
  • Build and lead operation team: define hiring needs, allocate resources, coach team members and maintain high motivation
  • Plan and monitor the day-to-day running the business to ensure smooth progress and high achievement across operation KPIs
  • Coordinate operations- inbound/outbound processing, picking & packing
  • Identify areas of improving operational and financial metrics, and implement such projects
  • Work for solutions to scale, while overseeing the growth of our business. Your processes and projects will directly contribute to growth
  • Supervise activities of workers to ensure that they are hands-on in order to promote hard-work, which is needed for successful deliveries and completion of production tasks to meet clients demands and deadlines
  • Give vivid directions and guidelines to shipping agents about nature of goods and delivery locations, and maintain communication with them to ensure that goods are not damaged on transit amount charged to clients, to ensure that a positive account balance is left at the end of every transaction
  • Maintain safe work environment for team members in accordance with health and safety regulation, including elimination of accidents
Requirements
  • 3-5 years’ experience in retail distribution operations, logistics and / or supply chain management, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Possession of excellent time management skills to be able to deliver good as at when due
  • Excellent human relations skill to be able to work effectively with all members of the logistics team, getting them to perform optimally
  • Excellent on English language
  • Strong knowledge of logistics management for efficient service delivery
  • Outstanding communication and people skills
  • Knowledge of industry’s legal rules and guidelines
  • In depth knowledge of diverse business functions and principle (e.g. supply chain, finance, customer service etc.)
  • Working knowledge of data analysis and performance/operation metrics
  • Multitasking skills: He/ she must be able to do several tacks together without getting confused
  • Attention to detail: He/ she must be able mindful of even the little details of an assignment
  • Organization skill: The logistics operations manager must be able to plan and organize his/ she activities for efficient delivery of goods
