DEPARTMENT/BRANCH: Operation Department

REPORT TO: Credit Supervisor

PURPOSE OF POSITION

The purpose of this position is to find potential clients and promote them about our product and service. He/she is also responsible for loan assessment, ensure loan quality, client follow up and problem solving with clients as well.

Duties
  • Reporting to Credit Supervisor
  • Find target client in the target operation area
  • Communicate and promote the company’s product and service to client, authority and other related party
  • Make appointment and explain to the clients about term and condition to receive loan from company.
  • Perform loan assessment and summit to credit committee.
  • Ensure that all financial and non-financial information and documents provided by customer are accurate, reliable and sufficient for credit and risk assessment and sound credit decision.
  • Build a very good relationship with all levels of local authorities to get their supports on loan documents process.
  • Closely follow up the borrowers on their business change or any problems then report to direct supervisor for taking early action on time.
  • Ensure the loan repayment with 100% and closely follow up.
  • Follow up and solving with client late payment
  • Performs other tasks that may be assigned by supervisor.
Requirements
  • Must understand and agree on LBP ’s Vision, core values, procedures and objectives,
  • Bachelor Graduated in business administration or other related field,
  • At least 2-year experience in micro finances, banks and the related fields.
  • Good command in English both writing and listening
  • Good interpersonal skill, communication skill and problem solving.
  • Computer literacy, internet, email
  • Strong Leadership and team motivation skills
  • Ability to work under pressure, highly self-motivated,
  • Demonstrate high level of ethical commitment and trustworthiness,
 

Loan Recovery Officer

DEPARTMENT/BRANCH: Operation Department

REPORT TO: Loan Recovery Supervisor

PURPOSE OF POSITION

Loan Recovery Officer to be responsible for collecting bad debt including written-off loans and loans overdue with compliance with the Client Protection Principles, and other acceptable common practices aligned with legal framework requirement.

Duties
  • Discuss and explore practical technique and strategies to incorporate into the plan.
  • Formulate plan of detail actions of overdue/ written off loans.
  • Set out the detail actions and target of loan recoveries.
  • Identify and assess a recovery likelihood of loan write off clients, rating Low, Medium, or High.
  • Coordinate with credit officer to identify loan write off clients and classify them into four different categories according to combination of their willingness to pay and capacity to pay.
  • Work closely with Branch Manager (BM) and Credit Officer (CO) to execute recovery techniques and strategies including, loan write off mapping, regular home visit and chasing, and collecting.
  • Try to get all the loan write off clients to have commitments with us, and to get them to follow their promise.
  • Share recovery experiences and lessons learnt to BM and CO to get them better knowledge and understood for improving the loan assessment in the next loans made/originated.
  • Seek ways to continuously improve performance and productivity on the job.
  • Work closely with the Credit and Recovery Supervisor to identify root cause of loan delinquency, operational weaknesses and recommend changes to improve the quality of the portfolio.
  • Other tasks as assigned by supervisor.
