Regional Specialist for Market Systems and Climate Resilience

HEKS/EPER Swiss Church Aid is the aid organisation of the Protestant Churches of Switzerland and has its headquarters in Zurich/Switzerland. HEKS/EPER works towards a more humane and more equitable world, assisting people and communities irrespective of their religion to overcome economic, social or humanitarian disparities in order to gain autonomy and to live with dignity both in Switzerland and abroad. HEKS/EPER engages in development cooperation, humanitarian aid and church cooperation. HEKS/EPER currently implements 255 projects across 30 countries. HEKS/EPER is a member of the ACT Alliance.

HEKS/EPER is working in Cambodia and Myanmar to support social and economic inclusion and climate-resilient agricultural production as part of HEKS/EPER’ International Programme 2021–2024. In order to enhance the technical capacity of project teams and partners in these areas of work and ensure quality assurance in HEKS/EPER’s projects, HEKS/EPER is looking for a business-minded, creative and result-driven Regional Specialist for Market Systems and Climate Resilience. The job holder will be based in Phnom Penh and will help ensure the technical quality of project design and implementation, with a particular focus on the use of the Market Systems Development approach and on climate-resilient agriculture. The position will involve working with a range of actors at the local, national and international level. He/she will work on HEKS/EPER’s own projects as well as provide technical expertise to external partners.
