IT Assistant

SUMMARY OF THE POSITION

The Payroll officer typically possesses an educational background in Accounting, Finance and Banking, or any related field. She/he must have experience in accounting tasks and duties for at least 2 years. Speaker limited of English and Native Speaker Khmer language, an enthusiastic and positive work attitude as well as high level of cultural sensitivity and empathy are further characteristics of the Accounting Officer. He/She is accountable for assigned tasks by the accounting manager in the accounting field. Honesty, transparency and accountability are of highest priority and all accounting department staff will follow these principles under guidance, training and control of the Accounting Manager.

Duties
  • Monitor on contract / main power before registering
  • Daily reconcile staff advance account
  • Do adjustment Visa, Insurance, Medical, PD, Re-location allowance, child’s tuition fee for staff, and other deduce
  • Do costing of staff by level for ending of the month in journal entry
  • Record new staff in payroll system
  • Email remind to HR Department for print out staff attendance bi-week
  • Bi-week calculate and issue salary
  • Open new account bank for new staff
  • Keep record annual and sick staff apply school policy
  • Semester report annual leave to staff for comparison with HR department
  • Check the record for insurance all staff to make sure insurance company charged properly
  • Arrange and calculate tax on salary
  • Arrange and calculate NSSF (National Social Security Fund)
  • Keep update actual monthly salary in worksheet as BoD required
  • Arrange payroll slip for staff sing as well
  • Manpower plan budgeting with all department heads
  • Monthly Manpower and staff turnover report

Bus Fleet Assistant

Duties
  • Implement bus safety, comfort and appearance standards in cooperation with the community through the Bus Fleet Supervisor
  • Receiving bus service orders from parents through inter-department communication and map the address and bus number that is appropriate to the location of the students
  • Arrange the daily bus students attendance in such a way that the buses arrive on time, not so crowded, drop on time and safely
  • Assure that the daily student attendance is taken and monitored in a manner that no students are left behind or forgotten and these records are well documented for reporting purposes.
  • Fille into the daily school bus attendance sheet and share it with the Frontdesk Team.
  • Assist and support with school bus driver and school bus assistant for fingerprint sign up.
  • Assist the project in spotting all bus students’ address on Google Map
  • To assure that all stakeholders of the bus service (parents, students, teachers and bus fleet team) are well informed about traffic jams, bus malfunction, accidents or late arrivals for other reasons and to use this experience to build a better system and/or practice in order to avoid the same situations

Financial Controller

SUMMARY OF THE POSITION

Prerequisites

The Financial Controller candidate should have a Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting, or equivalent business experience and 5+ years of progressively responsible experience for a major company or division of a large corporation. Preference will be given to candidates with the Certified Public Accountant or Certified Management Accountant designations. Excellent communication skills in both English and Khmer are essential, particularly in regard to presenting the results of analyses to management. Should have an outstanding knowledge of electronic spreadsheets.

Relationships

The Financial Controller supervises all finance as well as accounting operations of the CIA FIRST group. He/She also acts as consultant for the group satellite campuses. He/She reports to the CEO and, if required, directly to the Board of Directors. The Financial Controller acts as the mentor and coach of the Accounting Managers/Supervisors.

Function

The function of this position is to ensure that the financial and accounting system of CIA FIRST and all satellite campuses is effective and efficient. He/She advises the school leadership and governance to manage funds in such a manner as to maximize return on investment while minimizing risk, and while also ensuring that an adequate control structure is in place over the transfer and investment of funds. Further, the Finance Management Consultant engages in financial analysis in such areas as forecasting, budgeting, engaging in cost reduction analysis, and reviewing operational performance.

Reports to: CEO and Board of Directors

Responsible for: Advice for funds management, corporate liquidity and budgeting based on financial analysis, as well as revising internal control procedures.

Duties
  • Funds Management
  • Lead the closing process and review statutory accounts, in compliance with business strategy and investor’s requirement
  • Developing a system for forecast cash flow positions, related borrowing needs, and available funds for investment
  • Developing a system to ensure that sufficient funds are available to meet ongoing operational and capital investment requirements
  • Assist in determining the company's proper capital structure
  • Provide support in arranging for equity and debt financing
  • Financial, tax, and internal control, and ensure all regulations, internal and external, are fully complied
  • Supervise investments and arrange fundings (e.g. bank debt, cashflow) for business.

  • Monitor and assist in developing further agreements with educational and commercial partners financially benefiting the school.
  • Assist Procurement team in negotiating contracts with third party service providers, such as canteen and security company etc. when necessary.
  • For new projects/ acquisitions, conduct feasibility study analysis and compliance review pre-investment, and take lead on integration of financial statements post-investment.

Requirements
  • Bachelor or Master Degree in Accounting & Finance
  • CIMA, ACA and ACCA, CGMA, CPA qualification is great advantage
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in the field, in which five years' experience in managerial positions, especially in education industry
  • Strong experience in internal procedures, processes and controls, and compliance - Solid experience in reporting and consolidation
  • ERP implementation and compliance experience is a plus
  • Big 4 experience is an advantage
 

IT Officer (Network & Cyber Security)
