In Cambodia, CHAI provides technical and management assistance to the National Center for HIV / AIDS, Sexually Transmitted Infections and Dermatology (NCHADS) with a goal to reduce the burden of HIV/AIDS & co-infections, to prevent new infections and attain the 90-90-90 target. CHAI will support the Communicable Disease Control of the Ministry of Health (CDC-MoH) to reduce the transmission of viral hepatitis by early treatment and reduce morbidity and mortality by 2025. The overall objective of CHAI’s HIV work in Cambodia is continual support to NCHADS via evidence-based strategies, strong operational plans, and sound technical expertise.
CHAI Cambodia's Internship Program offers highly motivated individuals an opportunity to be exposed to CHAI’s mission and gain practical experiences in providing technical and management assistance. The intern program also allows individuals to bring new perspectives and innovative ideas into shaping CHAI’s work in Cambodia as well as improving the management of HIV/AIDS and hepatitis. The selected intern will be based NCHADS's office and MOH-CDC’s office working with CHAI and national program colleagues in a diverse and fast-paced environment on a daily basis.

Length of position: 3-6 months, part – time or full-time
