Events and Communications Manager

Duties
  • Create, manage and co-ordinate all internal and external events into one annual calendar and schedule for the school.
  • Work with the Principal and SLT to manage the calendar for the current academic year.
  • Lead the planning process for the next academic year through the annual planning cycle.
  • Develop and manage the school event budget, providing all key stakeholders with regular updates of actuals versus planned spend.
  • Create and maintain the calendar of events on the school website and keep the schedule accurate and up to date on a daily basis with all required information.
  • Using the latest digital marketing strategies, foster brand awareness and loyalty across a wide-reaching audience.
  • Manage the school website and blog, assisting with content creation (e.g., photography, graphic design, charts, polls, scripts), analysing relevant data and metrics, identifying new technologies and trends, and budget planning.
  • Use a combination of creativity, innovation and practical marketing knowledge to deliver promotional messages and campaigns, increase product/mission awareness and maintain brand recognition.
  • Work with computer software to create or oversee the creation of graphics, videos, blog posts and other interactive formats that are in-line with Nord Anglia branding goals.
  • Draw down the social media channel strategy from global and ensure that each school social media channel is used appropriately for the target audience
  • Develop an appropriate engagement strategy for each social media channel (frequency and type of posts, use of paid versus unpaid activity etc.).
  • Work towards an agreed target regarding number of posts per day on each social media channel in use by the school.
  • Spend quality time each day / week around the school, capturing formal events and the day-to-day life within the school. Aim to get content out on social media during the same day the images were taken.
  • Ensure that the school’s visual identity, brand character and tonality is brought to life across all social media.
  • Monitor key social media metrics on a weekly basis and share across the MAC team and wider school.
  • Actively work to develop content that drives the ‘conversation’ and generates engagement from the school community through shares and comments.
  • With guidance from the School DAM, respond to all social media questions or comments directed at the school within 24 hours during the working week.
  • Manage the school’s social media aggregator.
  • Coach and develop other social media contributors throughout the school, always ensuring the highest quality standards are adhered to.
  • Lead the logistical planning and project management for all major events
  • Manage an efficient invitation and attendee tracking process.
  • Develop procedures and guidelines to support other members of the school team to execute events effectively.
  • Co-ordinate management and collateral required for external events such as school fairs and open days
  • Lead the on-the-ground execution for all major events.
  • Co-ordinate and attend the weekly school event management meeting.
  • Manage a roster of external vendors to provide quality and cost effective event services
  • Co-ordinate across the MAC team to ensure all school recruitment events are appropriately staffed with MAC team members.
  • Maximize branding opportunities to promote the school through community events.
  • Provide planning and project management advice and support to the Parent Faculty for their events.
  • Leverage external opportunities to showcase school performing arts and music departments such as choirs, bands and theatre performances.
  • Co-ordinate staff events including staff orientation programs and seasonal celebrations.
  • Work with the school DAM to build relationships with key external partners such as Chambers and Embassies / Consulates to maximize opportunities to promote the school through external events.
  • Develop event marketing collateral using Central and Regional templates.
  • Co-ordinate with school or external photographers / videographers to ensure ample collateral is produced for Communications to use in school social media and on the website news and blogs section.
  • Lead the discussion with the Principal and SLT on which events can be leveraged for parent recruitment.
  • Act as the key point of contact for event and sponsorship enquiries.
  • Ensure the events calendar contains ‘open day’ events.
  • Take advantage of B2B events: engaging relocation agents and / or engaging decision makers in other companies.
  • Leverage the global photo / video bank where appropriate in school communications.
  • Develop the school photo / video bank, based on global guidelines, high aesthetic quality, brand fit and appropriate parental usage rights.
  • Refresh the school photo / video bank regularly and annually through the use of a Nord Anglia approved photographer or videographer.
  • Provide a clear brief to any external photographer / videographer or member of staff that provides photographs / videos for the school to ensure all images and film are aligned to global guidelines and brand fit.
  • Develop own photography, videography and editing skills, drawing on regional and global expertise.
Requirements
  • Nationality: Cambodian Only
  • Bachelor of communication related degree
  • Minimum 5 years working in customer service, hospitality, or events management
  • Good cross-cultural, interpersonal & communication skills to interact with diverse nationalities and cultures
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Experience of contributing to and managing all social media platforms
  • Knowledge of communication programs such as Mailchimp
  • Photographic and videography skills
  • Excellent time management skills and flexibility in dealing with multi-functional tasks
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Strong aesthetic eye in evaluating collateral – both in terms of design and in terms of driving effective behavior change
  • Creative and technical thinking ability
  • Self-motivated, flexible, and adaptable to different tasks at hand
  • Proactive and able to prompt others to ensure deadlines and targets are achieved, calm working under pressure

Assistant School Head Nurse

  • Salary: $400 - $500
Duties
  • Provide basic healthcare to students in case of injury or acute illness.
  • Update students’ medical history 
  • Dispensing of prescription medications under supervision of the school head nurse.
  • Maintain health records.
  • Participate in health screening, e.g., vision, hearing, postural screenings.
  • Daily log documentation.
  • Accompany student to hospital, if necessary.
  • Maintain health rooms.
  • Contact parents or other agencies as appropriate.
  • Assist in personal daily needs.
  • Ensure compliance with national and local health laws.
  • Practice clinical skills and duties as specified by the school head nurse.
  • Other duties as assigned by the school nurse and/or principal.
Requirements
  • Nationality: Cambodian Only
  • A certified/registered Nurse
  • Minimum 2 of experience nursing
  • Can use both English and Khmer well.
  • Has had experience/training in a school health setting.
  • Experience of working within education, childcare provision.
  • First Aid qualified (desirable – training can be provided).
  • Knowledge and experience of providing first aid.
  • An excellent team player with an ability to demonstrate.
  • flexibility, who can work collaboratively or independently as required.
  • Organized, efficient, able to identify and achieve prioritized targets.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, particularly listening skills combined with the ability to understand others’ needs and points of view.
  • Ability to remain calm during emergency.
  • Possess good basic office administration skills – including ICT (MS Office suite especially Outlook, Word and Excel and experience of utilizing databases).
