Financial JAVA Developer

Duties
  • Performing requirement analysis.
  • Developing high-quality and detailed designs.
  • Conducting unit testing using automated unit test frameworks.
  • Identifying risk and conducting mitigation action planning.
  • Conducting configuration of your own work.
  • Reviewing the work of other developers and providing feedback.
  • Using coding standards and best practices to ensure quality.
Requirements
  • Educational background in Computer Science, System engineering
  • 2+ years experience in Java-based Enterprise application development using any framework
  • Advanced Java knowledge including OOP and design patterns, and web frameworks
  • Database development and design skills
  • Database query tuning skills to improve performance
  • Experience working on Linux/Unix systems.
  • Experience with client-side technologies like HTML5/CSS/JavaScript
  • Quant or software development experience within the financial service industry desired

Duties
  • Designs develop and modify software modules based on functional and system requirements, according to code standards and user interface design guidelines
  • Performs program maintenance, modifications, and enhancements to existing applications through programming, testing, documenting and training users
  • Contribute clean code to ensure a consistently high-quality standard
  • Propose and assess solutions to resolve problems, including identifying and evaluating new technologies and third-party components
  • Understand and execute the technical concepts and the client requirements to ensure the high-quality technical solution
  • Understand and be able to explain the roles and responsibilities within the Scrum Team and how to work in an Agile environment
  • Provide more complicated automated test method and understand the test-driven development concept
  • Be able to give accurate rough estimations and point out dependencies between issues
Requirements
  • Have logical thinking and knowledge of basic mathematical logic

Duties
  • Defend qualities and schedules of handling projects
  • Analyze, plan, and business requirements with internal clients, and break down it for project members and the project director who is working with you
  • Assign and oversee the main tasks of projects, and help the project director and the project leader to assign daily tasks of project members while ensuring all subordinates are actively working toward established milestones
  • Hold regular technical team meetings to determine progress and address any questions or challenges regarding projects
  • Determine and define clear deliverables, roles and responsibilities for staff members required for specific projects or initiatives through discussion with product owners
  • Support the project leader to research and evaluate hardware and software technology options and weigh the cost/benefit analysis when making large purchases on behalf of the company
  • Arrange team members for managing projects with managers in the technical department
  • Track and document approved changes to software baseline.
  • Support generation of metrics for project progress and quality
Requirements
  • Demonstrated understanding of Project Management processes, strategies, and methods
  • Experience working in a high-level collaborative environment and promoting a teamwork mentality
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills and experience establishing guidelines in these areas for others
  • Strong sense of personal accountability regarding decision-making and supervising department teams
  • International level of managerial experience applying analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
