Laey Baitong is a registered leading agribusiness established by a group of social entrepreneurs who have high passionate to see customers are living in good health while contributing to enhance livelihood of local agricultural producers. Our business model is connecting local agriculture smallholder producers, consumers and other key business stakeholders by contracting and supplying the local natural produced food with safety and organic agricultural products with a convenient and friendly ordering & delivering.

Announcement Positions

General Manager (1 Position)

  • Salary: $450 - $700

Starting date : September, 2021

Duration : A long-term contract will be offered depending on performance (with 3 months probation period)

This position is to provide leadership and overall management of Laey Baitong business operation. This person will ensure Laey Baitong supply chain is attained the high convenience and friendly through managing all business functions such as operation, finance, sale and marketing and call center and better synergized and partnership with in order to achieve the overall key business performance.

Duties
  • Work with Board of Directors (Boards) to develop business plan and translate into actions
  • Develop quarterly production and sale planning and regular monitoring to ensure effective and efferent implementation
  • Oversee day-to-day shop operation to make sure plans and policies are effectively implemented
  • Manage staff performances and identify skill gaps, needs for capacity building, and ensure good teamwork
  • Ensure that shop reports such as production, sales, and financial reports are developed accurately and timely for the Boards and Shareholders
  • Join regular Boards and shareholder meeting
  • Build good relationship with Boards and other stakeholder, include farmers, suppliers, key customers, government officers
  • Responsible other tasks that may be required by the company or Boards
Requirements
  • Must understand and conform to Laey Baitong Vision, Mission, and Values
  • Hold Bachelor degree in Business Management (Agribusiness Management is most preferred)
  • Good interpersonal, communication, staff supervision, training and management skills.
  • Good working knowledge of English and computer skills especially on MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to work under pressure and be highly self-motivated.
  • Demonstrate high level of ethical commitment and trustworthiness
  • Able to present clearly (speaking & writing) at Board level, also with external donors, government & other key stakeholders
  • IT literate, especially using social medias and working online
 

Production and Quality Control Officer (1 Position)

  • Schedule: Full-time
  • Salary: $220 - $350

Starting date : September, 2021

Duration : A long-term contract will be offered depending on performance (with 3 months probation period)

This position is to provide agriculture’s production management of Laey Baitong agribusiness. This person will ensure Laey Baitong supply chain is attained the high convenience and friendly through managing all functions such as working with farmers, collector etc. agriculture’s production of business performance.

Duties
  • Work with General Manager and farmers to develop productions plan that to align with Business Plan
  • Set budget plan for the products and do action
  • Collaborate with purchasing organization or buyers for quality requirements and purchase volume
  • Work with producers (farmers) on plantation and provide orientation or training when need.
  • Build good and regular communication with farmers, agriculture cooperative, and NGOs partners.
  • Ensure quality and standard of products before sale
  • Monitor and manage wastes by creating secondary products from those wastes
  • Prepare and present reports to update upper management on quality activities
  • Responsible other tasks that may be required by the company or Boards
Requirements
  • Must understand and conform to Laey Baitong Vision, Mission, and Values
  • Studying or graduate Agriculture degree
  • Good interpersonal, communication, staff supervision, training and agriculture skills.
  • Good working knowledge computer skills especially on MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to work under pressure and be highly self-motivated.
  • Demonstrate high level of ethical commitment and trustworthiness
  • Able to travel to field and work with farmers, buyers, local government and other key stakeholders
  • IT literate, especially using social medias and working online
